A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. It only opened in March but it was very homely and comfortable. Our bedroom was enormous with stunning views of the sea. The pool was perfect and because it is a relatively small hotel, 11 rooms and a penthouse, there wasn’t a problem getting a sun bed regardless of time of day. No towels on sunbeds at sunrise here. Breakfast was good, great juice, fresh fruit and breads to accompany the cooked dishes. I would definitely recommend this hotel for quality and position as there were so many restaurants close by. And loved Kiki the hotel dog who was so sweet.

The staff was amazing, so smiling and helpful! The hotel is beautiful situated at the beach. The place is modern and superfresh, and very well organised! The food was very good, tasteful and very well presented. I can reccomend Amaroo, I would love to come back!

We LOVED the sun house, even though we have always stayed in really nice places in Sri Lanka, this was by far the best. The location is great, you pay around 200 LKR to go to Galle Fort. The garden and the house itself is beautiful. The food was great, one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Really good value for money and super tasty. And the staff was simply amazing. There was always someone around and usually we even didn’t have to say anything- when we left the room, they would think of cleaning our room, if we lay down by the pool they would bring water. They remember all our wishes for breakfast (eg no bananas) and we never had to ask for it again. I want to particularly point out the service of Priyantha and Tharindu, they were lovely and always had a nice story to tell or a recommendation to give. Thank you so much for making our stay special

We had a pleasant 2 days stay in this beautiful and stylish hotel with bespoke interiors and convenient location near the beach and not far from the Galle Fort. The hotel staff Varuni and Roshan were extremely helpful and nice. They helped us with our requests to make our stay the most comfortable. The breakfast prepared by the staff was delicious and nicely served. We look forward to staying in Taavetti Hotel again.

The hosts were very sweet and nice people. The communication upon arrival was great. The cabin is cute, upstairs of course it’s quite hot but there is an aircon! And breakfast was ridiculously delicious and way too much
