Wonderful family! Very accomodating, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Beautiful modern villa, set in a jungle like environment with nice views. The villa also offers a large and clean pool. Inoka the host suggested interesting sightseeing spots and her husband drove me to some locations around the area. I felt very welcome and safe travelling alone. The rooms are fantastic!Very nicely furnished, clean to a high standard, the bed comfortable and some rooms have a balcony. There is a elegant dining and living room area one may use with coffee and tea making facilities. My best stay in Sri Lanka so far and I highly recommend it. Ah, and not to forget the tasty food, I had dinner and breakfast here and it was so good. Inoka finally took me to the local bus station to make sure of a safe departure. Thanks again for everything!

We had the most unforgettable stay at The Lavender House in Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views all around—truly a piece of paradise. We were welcomed with a wonderful surprise: a room upgrade to what felt like a private, luxurious villa. The space was unbelievably spacious and beautifully designed, offering total comfort and privacy. As we were celebrating our honeymoon, the staff went above and beyond to make it special with lovely welcome snacks and a room decorated with such thoughtful detail—it meant so much to us. Our personal butler was exceptional—attentive, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was a scenic tour organized for us, and they even packed a delicious lunch box, which was such a considerate touch. Accommodation Lotus villa - Kandy We are a family of 4 so they put us in adjoining rooms with our own bathroom which was perfect. The rooms were the perfect size - 1 double and twin room especially as we spent most of our time outside taking in the fantastic views. The pool was a great size and spotlessly clean. We ate quite a lot at the villa and Siran made excellent traditional food. Not only was it delicious but it also allowed us to try a variety of different local dishes. He also makes a great cup of tea 😊 Siran was an amazing host and could not do enough to help. One of the most helpful and attentive people we have met. He also organised trips for us at a really good price. We would 100% recommend staying here and hopefully we will be back one day. We really enjoyed our stay here. The manager and the cook both went above and beyond to make sure we feel right at home and have everything we need. The location is in a more residential area and has a huge garden and pool. The room offers a stunning view over the beautiful landscape and was very modern with a very clean bathroom, hot water and AC. If you are looking for a very quiet stay outside of Kandy, I highly recommend Cogent Holiday Stay!

Very nice ambiance. Old kolonial style but very neat and well maintained. Only 5 rooms, so very cosy. Large rooms with nice beds. Great view on the surrounding hills. Very kind personel. Fast responding to my changing plans and questions. Good price for a nice rice and curry dinner.
