This was the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka and we would rebook a trip to the country just to stay here all week. The masseuse was brilliant and really good value. All of the staff were lovely particularly the older gentleman who had clearly worked in high end hotels and was so attentive and could not have done more for us during our time.

Great food - very substantial breakfasts and dinners. The owner arranged a boat safari for us including transfer. He organised the jeep safari himself according to the current whereabouts of the animals so that we could see as much as possible. He knows the area very well. He also arranged the transfer to the next accommodation. Everything went like clockwork and was on time. Highly recommended!

My family (including teenage boys) and I had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming and produced a delicious supper and breakfast for us. We were positively surprised by the beautiful setting - if I could post some photos on this site, I definitely would! The property is surrounded by beautiful palm trees, wonderful fruit trees around the back and amazing spices, as well as a luscious green paddy field, all of which the host kindly showed us. The property is opposite a very pretty river and not far from the Gal Oya lake safari start. Would definitely recommend!

We spent 2 night and we did a Safari. What a great hotel! The tent is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They were so nice for the kids. The surroundings are beautiful. We can highly recommend this hotel
