We really like the beautiful and super-spacious room. Stuff in the rooftop restaurant was super friendly and professional. Cocktails are tasty. Want to mention Dilki from the restaurant as she was beautifully helpful and friendly. And a restaurant manager Raveen. Who is doing his job professionally!

Our stay at this hotel was simply magical! The hotel is nestled right next to a breathtakingly beautiful and serene lake, offering peaceful views and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to the gentle sound of nature and the shimmering water was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding—freshly baked pastries, a variety of tropical fruits, rich and aromatic coffee, and a selection of delicious local specialties. Every morning felt like a luxurious feast, setting the perfect tone for the day. One of the best parts of this hotel was its location. A short, pleasant walk led us straight to the ocean’s pristine beach. The golden sand was incredibly soft and clean, and the crystal-clear water made it an ideal spot for relaxation and swimming. The combination of the peaceful lake and the stunning ocean beach made this a dream destination.

An amazing, secluded place to spend a couple's vacation, exceptional service, hospitality, friendly hosts, and the most delicious breakfasts we've ever tasted!!!!! We can honestly say this was our favourite property we stayed at. The hosts were absolute angels! Cared for us so well, super accommodating we stayed an extra night. Breakfast was perfect, lots of fruits which we love. This was the end of our 4 week trip, we had stayed in similar priced places throughout our time in Sri Lanka but this was exceptional. Incredibly clean and up-kept, huge room and bathroom. Lovely garden area where we had tea in the afternoon, there is a kitchen area and fridge to use as well as washing machine. If we had the time we would have stayed for a week. The property is on a quiet side street off the main road so it was super peaceful and quiet for sleeping. You can access the beach by walking left out of the property through the trees, 2 minute walk and you are on private beach to your self. 5 minute ride on scooter to Hikkaduwa beach. The hosts also arranged transport to the airport for us, very sad to leave but a very enjoyable stay at Serene Villa
