Clean, fresh, cared for. Everything worked. The staff are fantastic and Niro will provide suggestions for everything including what to see and where to eat. His restaurant recommendation gave us the best meal yet in Sri Lanka which is down near the Dutch Fort in Mannar. We had the chicken fried rice, chilli beef and ghee roti. Ice cream to finish! Loved it! They also filter their own water and provide it free to stay clear of single use plastic.

Very nice place, where the donkeys are well treated (and visitors as well). Very good and local food (we had breakfast & dinner there). The staff is nice and halpful.

Nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable bed. We had an upgrade to a suite. The attached restaurant (Robin's Restaurant) had nice local cooking and friendly helpful service.

I had an amazing time at Suba and Lalee’s place. There are those extremely kind and generous guests that you will remember from your trip in Sri Lanka. I felt warmly welcomed and very safe as a female solo traveler. They are very helpful, you will have some good chats about what it is like in Sri Lanka, amazing diner and breakfast, the room is very clean and new… They also organise tuktuk tours to go to the top of the island for a very decent price. We used a 2b apartment. Hence we made tea and breakfast at our convenience. All aminities were there. Fridge, toaster, sandwitch maker, rice cooker, induction cooker along with cleaning supplies were there. We could make even dinner and lunch. Our purpose to go there was different.
