The best stay we had in Sri Lanka so far , the owner was super nice he did everything he could for us and more . The room was very clean and shower had hot water. He prepared the best breakfast for us in the morning and arranged the transport for our next destination. Highly recommend

Absolutely charming boutique hotel, ideal for a family or a couple vacation! It’s located on a private beach with soft waves, so we could swim easily with my small kid. The pool is stunning. The food and cocktails are lovely! Special thanks to Zander, the owner, for his personal attention to all guests and control and care of all details during our stay. And Loki dog is our big love. Thank you for our amazing stay! We’ll definitely come back again.

We just finished our 4-nights stay in the new room in Sea Bay Inn. This was one of the best stays we had in Sri Lanka: - room was very clean, pretty, with a nice smell, nice view - the location was really good - close to a nice beach, some restaurants around, not far from the city center - very nice and big breakfast - the owner is extremely nice and caring - we felt like at home I am sure everybody that will come here will be satisfied with the place and service provided. It was sad to leave this place.

🌴 A Truly Unforgettable Stay! 🌅 I stayed at this beautiful villa with my family, and it was simply amazing from the moment we arrived! The villa itself was so peaceful and spacious,The atmosphere was calm, private, and perfect for a family getaway. The owner was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home — always ready to help with a warm smile. The location was also perfect — just 5 minutes away from the beach! Every evening, we walked there to watch the stunning sunset and even saw sea turtles, which was such a magical experience for all of us. 🌅🐢 The whole stay felt like a dream — full of relaxation, happiness, and unforgettable memories with my loved ones. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly escape with a true tropical vibe. We will definitely come back again! ❤️🌺

Everything from the moment of the booking to the time of the check out was perfect. The location is beautiful, an oasis surrounded by jungle and right on the lagoon. Very clean, well maintained and with all the commodities you might need during your stay. The whole staff is incredibly friendly, attentive but never intrusive. We would come back to SriLanka even just to stay here, we absolutely loved it.

This is paradise on earth. We had a house right on the beach, there is a swimming pool, a restaurant, sun loungers, a shelter on the beach... They welcomed us with a fruit drink. You have the most beautiful beach on the island to yourself, even in the highest season there were a minimum of people here.

Tangalle is a bustling city with everything you could ever...

Tangalle is a bustling city with everything you could ever need, next to the most beautiful beach. The beach at Tangalle has a very relaxed atmosphere, its not crowded with tourists and there’s still a healthy fishing community, which makes it interesting and makes sure the local restaurants have super fresh fish and seafood. This was our second visit and we will be back again. We ate at a tiny restaurant called Leshana right on the road by the beach next to The Golden Pearl Hotel. The family are fishermen and the mother is a superb cook. It’s just a couple of tables in front of their home, but they look after you like friends and it’s just like eating with the family. They will also take you on fishing trips if you want. There’s lots of little places for coffee too. Places where you can try your hand at Sri Lankan cooking. Tangalle is near enough to Yala to go on a safari in the National Park. At night it’s quiet, no loud music or crowded bars. Perfect for a relaxing time.

Tangalle is a cozy, small city where you find whatever you need. A variety of beaches in and around in both directions, some of them really hidden gems, but also quiet family beaches where you can bring your kids.

The owners and staff were delightful - the service great.

The owners and staff were delightful - the service great. The cabannes were in the style of my travels 50 years ago and a great reminder of how simple life can (and should) be. For eating there is plenty of choice in the area and all easy walking but not always in 32 deg 😂

Tangalle is a mix of typical large commercial local Sri Lankan town buzz combined with touristy beach / restaurant / bar area. Very laid back along that 'strip', many bars and restaurants vying for business so you can be selective.

Perfect place to relax by the beaches, some of them are like or similar a near private beach type; but, difficult to swim. Generally, the waves and current are rough and sometime dangerous to rocky beaches; in early morning time, 9-10 am, waves and current can be managed to some extent....

It’s more of a local sleepy town and less touristy than the rest of the south coast. Lots of great beaches and family run restaurants. I could have easily used it as a base and stayed longer had the weather been better.

This is a really beautiful tranquil place to spend some time relaxing away from busier Tangalle. Chami and his family are perfect hosts making you feel right at home. The room I stayed in was the best room I’d had in Sri Lanka at this price point. Breakfast and all meals were tasty and big portions! Rekawa Beach rock pools are a 10 minute walk away and the safe swimming area 15 minutes. It is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen and turtle watching is a must! Thank you so much :)

We had an amazing stay at this guest house! The hosts were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The room was very clean and spacious, and we felt right at home. The family was very helpful and we enjoyed speaking with them. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, and we always looked forward to it. Overall, it was a beautiful and comfortable stay near Tangalle beach. We highly recommend this guest house!

The best place we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka so far and we’ve stayed in 9 places. Everything was extremely clean! Very close to a nice quiet beach, the bed was huge and very comfortable. We didn’t know whether to book this place as it had no reviews, but do not regret booking it one bit! Hoping to return here before leaving Sri Lanka Host was very friendly and helped us in anyway he could

Very nice hotel, super clean in a very good location close to a nice beach and at the same time not far from tangalle center. The family was amazing, kind and willing too o help any time. The breakfast was excellent, big variety and super tasty. By far the best I had in Sri Lanka. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Room si big enough with ventilator. Breakfast on the beach with sea view is top. The best breakfast in Sri Lanka, during our travels. In walking distance city centre, bus stand, many restaurants and shops. Really recommend. I will stay here again, when I come back.
