We loved pretty much everything about this hotel. The staff and service is absolutely outstanding. The room was clean and newly renovated with an amazing sea view. The breakfast was tasty. There is a small private beach right outside where you can watch the sunset or just walk. The pool was refreshing and we loved the cute dog that lives at the hotel. Overall perfect for a few days in Tangalle.

The location being right on the beach was the highlight of this spot for us, being able to walk along the beach first thing in the morning and watch sunrise and sunset each day. Food was incredible too. And the staff were incredibely friendly and warm.

Very clean rooms. Spacious and the beds are very comfortable. They are very friendly and they provided very tasty breakfast. Srilankan and western both options are available. Prices are very reasonable. Beautiful beach is 5 minutes away from the hotel. Great place to stay when you visit Tangalle.

The cabana we stayed in was very cute and situated so close to the beach that we could hear the waves as we fell asleep. The staff were very friendly and the property was well maintained. We were only scheduled to stay one night, but we changed our booking after we arrived so we could have an extra night.

Very warm and calm atmosphere, very nice staff that makes everything for you, a nice room and generous breakfast. The pool in the lovely garden is a perfect place for relaxation. Also enjoyed watching the wild monkeys surrounding the garden.

    The owners and staff were delightful - the service great. The cabannes were in the style of my travels 50 years ago and a great reminder of how simple life can (and should) be. For eating there is plenty of choice in the area and all easy walking but not always in 32 deg 😂

    Tangalle is a mix of typical large commercial local Sri Lankan town buzz combined with touristy beach / restaurant / bar area. Very laid back along that 'strip', many bars and restaurants vying for business so you can be selective.

    Perfect place to relax by the beaches, some of them are like or similar a near private beach type; but, difficult to swim. Generally, the waves and current are rough and sometime dangerous to rocky beaches; in early morning time, 9-10 am, waves and current can be managed to some extent....

    It’s more of a local sleepy town and less touristy than the rest of the south coast. Lots of great beaches and family run restaurants. I could have easily used it as a base and stayed longer had the weather been better.

    Tangalle is a hidden gem!

    Tangalle is a hidden gem! So many wonderful beaches around the town. I stayed by the Goyambokka beach but preferred the neighbouring Silent beach, which was longer and so beautiful. I had dinner at neighbouring South Sea Pearl Beach restaurant, which served amazingly delicious food.

    The town has very little to offer.

    The town has very little to offer. It’s a noisy, chaotic typical Sri Lankan town. The only redeeming factor was Silent Beach on the Western side of town. We also enjoyed a nice meal at Cactus Lounge.

    It's my 5th accommodation in Sri Lanka, and so far the best. Every detail was great! Welcomed by a delicious drink, the owner arranged a scooter to be delivered to the hotel (brand new one) The room is very spacious and light, and has amazing views. It was the first stay where we were given more than 1 towel each. There was a big locker in the room where you can keep your valuables, and also a fridge. Across the road to amazing beach

    This was my favourite hotel in Sri Lanka, the hotel was a great location, very chilled vibes, quiet beach. Perfect for chilling. All the staff were very helpful and friendly particularly Naleen who looked after us and has been there since the hotel opened, and the receptionist was also lovely. Also loved the food the best Kottu rotti in Sri Lanka

    The best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka (we stayed in 7 hotels so we gained some background) - very abundant and freshly made to our request, but the crème de la crème was fresh curds from the local village - a long forgotten experience of my childhood. Walking distance to the beach, super pro-active staff, turtle beach in nearby.

    Although not beach front, it is one of the closest places to Silent Beach if you dont count the large luxury hotel at the beach. The people working here are extremely kind and helpful! They helped us organize a nice kayak trip at the nearby lagoon and we had our best meal in our whole Sri Lanka trip in their small restaurant.
