We stayed in Lankavatara 9 days and we had a wonderful and restoring experience. We choose the location because is very quite and immerse in the nature and after 10 days going around the island we needed a break before leaving. What make our stay unforgettable has been also the staff, all are very helpful and professional, from the staff at the reception, the staff at the restaurant, the staff who clean, and the staff at the spa. Thank you from be so kind and make our stay incredible.

A very thoughtfully designed small hotel with great attention to detail. We loved the rooms with veranda/porch towards the swimming pool. They hotel is right on the beach which is beautiful and not crowded at all. All the staff is very warm and friendly. The drinks at the bar are great and food is delicious! We did miss seafood options in the food menu though.. have stayed at other beaches on the south coast with better fresh seafood options on the menu. Otherwise this place is just perfect for a few days of stay!

This is such a special place and we loved the hotel. The staff were extremely attentive and the location is beautiful and very peaceful. We had some of the best food during our whole trip at this hotel - the chefs are amazing. We were so impressed by the attention to detail in the rooms, which were really well equipped. It was really the perfect balance - the rooms had the comfort and facilities of a much larger hotel, but with all the intimacy of a boutique experience.

We already had high expectations since the reviews are gold, but they were still exceeded. 1) Room is super cool, photogenic, little details like chilled beer mug in the fridge 2) Hirushan is a kind soul genuinely interested in serving his guests and leaves no stone unturned 3) Food was out of the world, they re-made some dishes because we liked them so much 4) Tangalle is pretty, but this region Rekawa has the BEST BEACH, giant waves and most gorgeous sunset 5) We saw like a 100 turtles hatched and running towards the beach :') More on my youtube channel by same name

Wow, what a truly wonderful stay at Simply Peace. The accommodation is fabulous, beautiful bungalows, pool, well equipped gym and great bar and restaurant area. But what really made this stay so memorable was the staff. I can’t praise them enough they were simply incredible. Special mention to the general manager, the boys working in the bar and a wonderful driver we had. We felt so welcome and well looked after. Food is simple and fresh and we had delicious cocktails each evening. We also had two wonderful massages. We can’t wait to come back soon to this haven on the lagoon!

Absolutely Everything - the most amazing place with the most incredible staff. Kamal and his team are absolutely fantastic and we couldn't recommend this place highly enough - easily the best place we have ever stayed driven hugely by the fantastic staff!
