I will give this a 10/10 out of how much the owner provided for me. The view outside is amazing, just in front of the lake. So peaceful! So the room was okay. But the best thing for me was that the owner provided me a free tour around the place, watching sunset, crocodiles, bats and owls. He also took me to the atm, supermarket, and picked me up from the bus when arriving. Everything for free. And I can also recommend going with the safari that he is providing. That guide was also amazing, experienced, and affordable.

The owner is a fantastic man, he was very attentive and respectful. He helped organise transport to Yala and then from Yala, as well as our Safari. He got an excellent Safari driver, which is the key to a good Safari experience. The room was lovely, and dinners were brilliant too. The area has a lake nearby and the locals who live nearby are so welcoming and friendly. I wish we had stayed longer.

The best part of this property apart from its beautiful location is the wonderful manager Mr.Danushka. He literally does all the work here and is absolutely efficient and so hospitable. We would totally go back to stay here with family, because we know he’d take care of every single thing.

Everything was amazing. We can’t think of a single thing that wasn’t perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Upul. He was so kind, and helped us with everything we needed. He is the best! He made us feel so special and welcome. Thank you for everything Upul. You made our stay even better! We didn’t want to leave this place! Everything is clean, beautiful and peaceful. Such a great place, the sweetest family and Randy has so much love for his community, the animals and his garden. We loved staying here, and hope we will be back someday. The rooms are huge, spacious, bright and new, and so is the bathroom. The garden is so cute and a great place to relax. Randy took us on a biking trip where we saw birds, animals, plants, trees and a stuba/tempel, he has so much knowledge and gives so much to his guests. Before we left we had a tour in their fruit garden, that was so interesting. Thank you so much Randy and family. You are the best.

We loved this place! Wonderful homestay overlooking the lake. The owner has created a very comfortable room- lovely 4 poster bed with comfy mattresses and pillows, a huge dressing mirror, hairdryer, desk and chair and a stand to hang clothes, AC and TV. The rooms share a wrap around balcony and a nice terrace to have your meals. Gemunu and his wife made us a lovely dinner - hoppers and fish curry was delicious. The buffalo yoghurt with treacle is a must. We booked a half day safari through them. Chamara was a good guide and we even managed to see a leopard. Though we stayed only a night we loved it and hope to stay here again. Gemunu was really helpful in getting our laundry done for us - washed and folded. It was really appreciated. A fantastic base for your safari.

Good hotel, I can give 10/10. Because the room was very clean, View was awesome, Staff was very helpful, Environment was really good. Sri lankan food was very tasty at this hotel. Safari tour journey was unbelievable. Great experience. Thank u!!
