We genuinely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. It felt like coming home – not to one mom, but to many welcoming moms. All the staff took such good care of us and made sure we had the best time. They had great tips on sightseeing and booked a fair priced tuktuk to drive us around Dambulla. The buffet was varied and delicious; the room and garden were tidy, beautiful and clearly looked after; the bed was super comfortable. We really hope we can come back one day.

Whether it was assisting with money exchange, arranging a pickup at any hour, or offering 24/7 support during our travels, their help was unwavering. No request was too big or small, and their readiness to solve any challenge made our trip seamless and stress-free. What truly set this stay apart was the personal connection they fostered. The owners introduced us to their own family, sharing stories and laughter as if we were old friends. They even organized a fantastic jeep safari at a budget-friendly rate and personally drove us to Sigiriya in their tuk-tuk, adding a personal touch to these adventures. But the highlight was being included in their family celebrations. During the Sri Lankan New Year, they welcomed us into their home for a vibrant, heartfelt celebration filled with traditional food, music, and joy. Beyond that, they frequently invited us for dinners and breakfast, making us feel like cherished relatives rather than guests. It's a gem! I couldn't believe my eyes that you could stay in something so beautiful as this villa for such little money. The location in Dambulla is convenient for visiting the temple in Dambulla and for hiking Pidurangala Rock. There is an open roof in the villa where you can see the stars on a clear night. The family who runs the villa is very nice and their daughter is a cuttie!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The variety was impressive, from freshly baked pastries to traditional Sri Lankan dishes, all beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We stayed 2 nights in a golden ayur eco villa which was well-priced and the rooms were comfortable, a calm place with an herbal plant surrounding our room. They organized a wild safari to the Minneriya National park. We saw a huge elephant gathering including babies, along with a variety of other wildlife such as birds, monkeys, and crocodiles. In addition there is a short distance from this place to Dambulla cave temple which is definitely worth to visit. We highly recommend GOLDEN ECO AYUR VILLA for the tourist destination in Dambulla.

Great place! The room was comfortable and spacious. The checking-in process is a very quick and warm welcome with delicious juice. The villa is run by a nice family, and they are always helpful & friendly. Breakfast was really great. 10minutes walking distance to the Dambulla Cave temple & the golden temple. Safe & lovely place to stay. Highly recommended for budget stay. Thankyou for such a great stay!

I had a wonderful stay at this B&B! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the very beginning, making me feel right at home. The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. Plus, the location couldn’t be better – just a short walk from the city center, perfect for exploring everything without needing transportation. Highly recommended!
