This is easily one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I've stayed at. Recently renovated, no expense has been spared to bring the Colonial mansion back to life. The attention to detail is remarkable. All the services are extraordinary and if I ever have a special occasion in Sri Lanka it will be at the Grand Walawwa.

We had a wonderful experience here. This place is calm and relaxing, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring a comfortable stay. The hotel is well-maintained, with clean and beautifully kept surroundings. The prices were very reasonable. We had a great time at the Cube accommodation! We arrived around 9 pm and the host made us a great dinner. In the morning, we were greeted with a delicious breakfast on the terrace with a view of the forest and the pool. The rooms are large and clean, modernly decorated. Since it was a holiday and we had problems finding transportation, the host offered to drive us wherever we needed, first to Pinnawala, the elephant orphanage, and then to Sigiriya, which is almost a 3-hour drive away.

Location is perfect, just next to the river where Elephants bath, and with a balcony over the street they use to come and go to the river. staff is very accommodating and let us check out late for free. Beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms are nice.

Very magical place to stay! In the morning around 10am elephants come to the river! You can see them from balcony or your room! Elephants were happy and playful! We enjoyed this experience a lot! Staff were friendly as well!

Its got an amazing location, a nice pool overlooking the elephant swimming ground and a nice terasse for breakfast/lunch/dinner. For christmas they prepared a DJ to cheer up the guests which was fun!
