We highly recommend The Beach Boutique. We had 4 days to land and relax. We experienced a very high level of service, good rooms, and great food. The owner drove us to the nearest tuk tuk when we couldn't find one, he even lent us money so we could exchange it in town. Everyone was so sweet, helpful, smiling, and friendly. My friends and I enjoyed a peaceful stay at Wetland. It was a perfect place to rest after our flights, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds, but our fondest memory will always be that we were treated (and fed) like family. Silva deserves special recognition, as he was always there, from our airport transfers and during all our meals, to make sure we were comfortable and happy. And a special thank you to Roshini, who took me to the doctor, ATM and pharmacy when I was under the weather.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Nest Kandana, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, cozy, and beautifully designed, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They helped me arrange an airport drop off and were happy to help with various requests. The room was a generous size, clean and comfy beds. The hotel is on the 19th floor and I had a really good view of the city from my room. I would stay here again if I come back to Colombo.

We booked the whole hotel, all 4 rooms. So we had a lot of privacy and the swimming pool to ourselves. The pool is large and incredibly clean. The owner Damith (Dani) is very friendly and Pobudu cooks very tasty and delicious food. We ate breakfasts and late lunches in the accommodation. The location suited us, as we have visited Sri Lanka 3 times in the past... The sea/ocean is not suitable for swimming but that's okay, there is a large swimming pool.

    We loved the down to earth hospitality of all the staff. Specially Dinesh, who stands out the crowd as a professional. Kind and jovial he knows how to row the boat gently and professionally. The chef did an excellent job as the restaurant boys. We can not thank them enough for a job well done.

    The hospitality was exceptional. Mr Dinesh recieved us at airport in the middle of night. Great service. When my child got sick he took her to hospital also. A very kind gesture from the hotel was they arranged for special food for my daughter during her illness. The location of the hotel is simply excellent. It's right on the beach and the humongous windows of the room augment the beach view experience. Wifi is good and the pool is cozy. Would 100% recommend. Everything was taken care by Mr Dinesh.     It was good for 1 night stay as we arrived early hours in the morning. The family room was huge with plenty of space for 4 (with one being on the sofa bed with the mattress on the floor). The hotel is a bit dated but clean & quiet. The staff were very friendly. We seem to be the only guests and the manager was kind enough to let us checkout late. He also arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport. We didn't use the pool or any other facilities.

    The hotel was convenient to get to the airport and Colombo. Great view of the ocean and the city skyline from the roof terrace. Pubudu was excellent. He was fantastic at helping us store our bags, arranging transport to the airport and generally was great at his job. Nothing was a problem for him and he had such a positive attitude.

    The second morning we were given Sri-Lankan breakfast since we asked for it. That was nice. The pool is well maintained by Marcus, the only real friendly chap in the hotel.
