It there were 6 stars, they’d get every one and have earned it. Beautiful place. Amazing staff. Buffets are delicious and plentiful. Rooftop (pool, spas, park, bar…) are incredible. Bridge to mall with restaurants, spa, movie theater, shops… Hotel offers free City Tours daily. 10 minutes south with hotel shuttle and you are at the Marino Beach Lounge (right on the beach)…perfect spot. Staff are some of the nicest people I’ve met One of my favorite places in my travels. 🙏

My stay at the Sheraton Colombo was nothing short of spectacular. I was greeted with warm hospitality and a level of professionalism that truly sets this hotel apart. The rooms are spacious, elegantly designed, and impeccably clean, offering breathtaking views of the city and ocean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring a luxurious and restful stay. The facilities are outstanding. Everything is maintained to the highest standard, creating an atmosphere of calm and sophistication. Sheraton Colombo is a true gem in the heart of the city. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I look forward to returning for another unforgettable experience!

Great cultural/historical experience. If you a bawa fan this stay is essential. So well preserved, and the staff make the experience authentic. While the stay felt like a preserved time capsule it also offered a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Colombo. Tharak and Anthony were great hosts. Helpful and friendly.

The property is as featured in the photos. They have a pair of caretakers who look after us well. Location is quiet, and very near to Mt. Lavinia Hotel. Don’t judged the place by the exterior of the building, it is an oasis in there. The room is clean and nice, with air con and a ceiling fan. Mosquito net draped over the bed and the bathroom is also equipped with amenities + hot water. We asked for omelettes and toast for our breakfast and it was done perfectly.

Watumulla is really close to the Ocean, the beach is...

Watumulla is really close to the Ocean, the beach is stunning, and the bars great. There is a dive School (October to May) just north and the Mount Lavinia does incredible buffet lunches. Nothing better than Sunday lunch tehre, and an afternoon in the sun by the pool. Its really fast into Colombo in a Tuk.
