Staying with Maximus at Seabay Resort was a true delight. It’s not luxury in the European way, but the kind of luxury that really matters: peace, simplicity, and genuine care. Our apartment was spotless and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the endless sea and direct access to the beach. Every morning, Maximus spoiled us with a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. The beach feels untouched and wonderfully quiet, and just a short walk away there’s a calm bay perfect for swimming. With the Pick Me app, getting around—even from the airport—is easy and affordable. A hidden gem for anyone seeking tranquility, warmth, and authenticity.

A very nice accommodation located near Negombo. I would definitely recommend it to anyone either leaving Sri Lanka or just arriving. It’s a perfect transit point because the accommodation meets European standards – not only in terms of equipment, but also cleanliness, which is on a higher level than what is usually found in Sri Lanka. You won’t miss anything here – and at the same time, you can enjoy the authentic Sri Lankan atmosphere all around (nature, local life, traffic, and friendly people). The place is very clean, the garden and pool are always well-maintained, and everything works (air conditioning, TV, fans, fridge). It has a great location – close to the airport and just 5 minutes by Uber to the beach. The ride to the beach costs only 340 LKR (approximately 1 euro). The owners are truly kind people, and it's easy to communicate with them about anything. There are also two lovely, clean dogs and a cat on the property. The food here is excellent. For lunch and dinner, you can choose from about eight different meals, which change regularly. There is always a choice – from local Sri Lankan dishes (including fresh fish) to European-style meals, so everyone can find something they like. The owners buy fresh ingredients every day.

Perfect if you are looking for a quiet and comfortable spot when you arrive in Sri Lanka or before leaving and heading to the airport. I wanted to enjoy my last day in the country relaxing by the pool, running some errands and a short ride to the airport (30min by tuk tuk), Hotel Riverrina is perfect for that ! The owner is the sweetest and will do absolutely everything he can to make your stay as smooth as possible. The room is big, stylish and clean. The garden and pool very nice as well ! The location is a bit out of the main road and hustle of Negombo, in a suburban neighborhood, which was perfect for me !

We stayed in the Monsoon villa, unfortunately, just for 1 night…we’d have loved to stay longer. It was spotlessly clean and we loved the clever design of the rooms. Far more personality than the big hotels in Negombo. Yummy breakfast.
