We recently enjoyed a memorable stay at Ceylon Resort Wildpattu, located near Wildpattu National Park. The owner was exceptionally kind and upgraded our room to a spacious, comfortable suite complete with a large bathroom and hot water. The resort’s unique setting nestled within nature means you’re surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle—even the garden attracts a variety of local wildlife. Despite arriving late (around 10:20 PM), we were warmly welcomed. The owner personally ensured that our late arrival was taken care of by waiting with a delicious buffet dinner featuring an array of traditional Sri Lankan dishes. He even explained every dish and introduced us to delightful local desserts. Another highlight was the convenient transportation service offered by the resort. The owner arranged rides to and from various destinations, even picking us up from a location 2.5 hours away. We also took part in an exciting safari trip to Wildpattu National Park via this resort.. Our driver for safari was knowledgeable and resourceful, successfully handling minor other mcar repairs during the safari. The journey through the humid forest was thrilling as we encountered numerous animals, creating an unforgettable wildlife experience. While our stay was brief—we only spent one night as we headed out for a full-day safari—the clean, spacious rooms and the owner’s attentive care made it feel like a home away from home. I wholeheartedly recommend Ceylon Resort Wildpattu to anyone looking for an immersive nature experience combined with genuine hospitality.

The owner and her family are such warm people that made us feel truly welcome. The food at the hotel was great! The hotel itself was close to the park, and had a very zen feel. The hotel has only been open for 3 months so everything was brand new. We booked a safari with the hotel and this was great as well, with an amazing breakfast to go. We would recommend it to everyone!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Taru Villas Villu Wilpattu, and I must say that the hospitality provided by the team was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make our stay as relaxing and memorable as possible. The team’s attention to our needs, combined with their warm and friendly nature, truly made our time at Taru Villas unforgettable. The accommodation was not only beautiful and serene but also impeccably maintained, reflecting the high standards of Taru Villas. Thank you to the entire team for your support, kindness, and for creating such a wonderful experience for us. We left with lasting memories and look forward to returning.

This is an amazing stay. We were only there for one night, but we were very happy with everything. The resort is gorgeous. Upon arrival, we were greeted with fresh juice and a nice damp towel. The staff was incredibly friendly, they were willing to go above and beyond and answered all of our questions. It was also no problem to leave our bags while we were on a safari. In addition to that, we received a great take-away breakfast at 5.30am from the staff for our safari day trip. The pool is also great, just like the views. The location is also great, close to the park entrance and the bus stop. The room was super clean and the bathroom was a dream. I would highly recommend this place, for us it was 10/10 in all aspects.

The food was amazing and such a lovely surroundings.

This place was such a lovely surprise. We booked here last minute after a problem with our other accommodation. We were so well looked after, it felt like we were in our own private villa. Ajit was particularly amazing. He made sure we had everything we needed at all times. The room itself was really cool. Very comfortable and clean with an amazing outside bathroom with a view of the trees. We had dinner and breakfast at the lodge. Both meals were excellent. They were huge - so much food! Everything was so tasty. The location is great. Right by the entrance to the park and in the middle of some fields. It was a very tranquil setting. The lodge also arranged our safari into Wilpattu and a driver to our next destination. This hotel is highly recommended.

Stay was excellent and the staff was very nice from the start of my visit, the room / location was exceptional as its was so close to the Wilpattu national park. During meals we had many options to choose from and the meals were prepared with good quality ingredients as i felt the freshness and difference in the dishes. There was also ample parking available which was great.!!! :) Free Wifi :) :) :)

From the moment we arrived till the time we left,everything was perfect,the staff were second to none,in fact we felt sad to leave but were moving to another area.Do not hesitate to book this place,it’s truly beautiful.

It was very clean . The owner was soo nice .he arranged us a safari trip that was amazing the driver was very experienced and we saw all the animas up close . The food that they prepered was amazing
