Sukomala is a hidden gem situated in a Sri Lankan village. We experienced amazing flora and fauna at the beautiful tropical garden! When you arrive at this villa it feels like you do not want to leave. The staff was great helped us out in every possible way! And the Sri Lankan breakfast was so scrumptious and filling plus we got a lovely plate of tropical fruits in the morning. Architecture of the villa is carefully planned that gives such a pleasant local feel, very tastefully designed interiors with cozy beds. The pool side was so nice in the night. We will definitely recommend Sukomala villa to anyone who would want to experience true Sri Lankan hospitality!

Our experience at La Green Villa from the 24th to the 25th was amazing. The check-in and check-out process was not only smooth but also accommodating, allowing us to savor our stay without feeling rushed fully. The breathtaking view was undoubtedly one of the most remarkable aspects of our stay. The scenery was simply stunning, offering a picturesque backdrop that added an extra layer of tranquility and beauty to our time at the hotel. Waking up to such a view was an absolute delight and created an unforgettable ambiance. Moreover, cleanliness was paramount throughout the premises. The hotel rooms and common areas were immaculate, reflecting a high standard of hygiene that was truly commendable. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness did not go unnoticed and significantly contributed to the overall positive experience. Notably, the staff maintained an unwavering standard of warmth and professionalism. Kavindu and the person who looked after the garden at La Green Villa was not only polite but also remarkably friendly. Their warm hospitality and willingness to assist made us feel welcomed and valued as guests. Our experience at this property was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for, as though we were guests in a home filled with warmth and charm. This place is unlike any other—a true oasis where you can completely immerse yourself in the vacation spirit. Every detail has been so thoughtfully designed and curated, creating an environment that is both stylish and comfortable. The house has a distinct and beautiful design that blends effortlessly with the natural surroundings, giving it a unique character that made our stay unforgettable. The pool is undoubtedly the cherry on top. After a day exploring the area or even just lounging around, it was the perfect place to unwind, cool off, and enjoy some quiet moments. You could easily spend the entire day here, relaxing and taking in the serene atmosphere. The location is also excellent—just a stone's throw away from Galle Fort and within a very short distance of the beach, offering the best of both worlds. Whether you’re looking to explore the historic sights, soak in the vibrant local culture, or simply relax by the sea, everything is conveniently close. Our stay exceeded all expectations. The level of care and attention from the staff was impeccable—they were well-trained, friendly, and attentive to our every need. It’s evident that they take pride in making every guest feel at home, and it truly elevated our experience. On top of all this, the accommodations themselves were outstanding. The rooms were spotless and beautifully furnished, creating a space that was both elegant and inviting. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience that made us feel completely rejuvenated. This is by far the best accommodation we’ve had in all our travels across Asia. I recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Galle, you won’t regret it. Everything about The Find was great! The room was spacious with plenty of room to store your things, and the interior looked exactly like in the pictures (just a note that not all rooms have a hammock). The views from the balcony overlooking the ocean were absolutely stunning. You can also enjoy sunrise and sunset from the rooftop. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The host and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even though the hotel is located next to the main road, it wasn’t disturbing at all. The beach is right next to the hotel, and you can swim directly from the property, just be mindful of the rocks. And there's of course pool as well. And as a bonus, I had the best coffee and coconut of my whole trip here! The hotel truly stands out from the rest – super chill vibes, beautiful aesthetics, and just an all-around amazing atmosphere. Miles has done a fantastic job creating this space. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Animals! We loved it here so much we doubled our stay because the place is just a dream. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in the "budget rooms" at first, which is just 10 seconds from the pool and dining area. Even though it's called a budget room, it's spacious & very well maintained and has a lovely garden, and the rooms have a large bathroom, a dressing and a terrace. The other days we spend in the double rooms in the main building which are like you're staying inside of a Pinterest moodboard. We got the privilege to meet the Swedish couple who owns the hotel & designed it into an absolute gem. They are just the best people, we talked for many hours & went surfing with them & learned so much about Swedish & Sri Lankan life during our talks. The breakfast included has so many options tot choose from and the coffees are actually the best we had in Sri Lanka. If you would be unfortunate that there is no room available in the hotel, do yourself a favour and come have lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed! Even though we travelled a lot and visited so much nice hotels & resorts, we never had the same experience like we had at Animals! The biggest thank you to Nalin, Samon, Anndala & Arvid for making us feel so welcome! ♥️
