Rated from a backpackers point of view, it was excellent. I had a single room with a balcony. It was very clean with ironed linens. Comfortable and practical small, but big enough, room with a kettle and a private bathroom. And the most fabulous view from the balcony. Green areas as far as I could see, and a white church in front of it. Even better, you get a wonderful sunset from here as well. There is a fishing net on the balcony, but it doesn't block the view, and it's there to keep the pigeons away. The hotel is staffed 24h, so if you arrive early, you can store your luggage. I was lucky and even got my room early. That way I could catch the green synagogue which has very limited opening hours. Cold drinks for sale in the reception. Coffee machine in the lobby and good WiFi as well.

It is a very nice hotel with friendly staff. Location is perfect for travellers with car, also it very easy to find it, if you use a public transport. Restaurant serves a nice food. Hotel is clean and a pleasure to stay there.

Apartment had everything that we needed for our stay. Very clean and quiet place with only short walk to supermarket and not too far from town centre. There was a heatwave in Latvia when we visited so, unfortunately, didn’t have chance to use sauna but would love to come back when it’s cooler and try it out. The host was lovely and super helpful- thank you so much!
