Staying at Dunes Clave was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and cared for. Our host, Moha, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—he is not only extremely hospitable but also very well-organized, which made our stay feel effortless and stress-free. The location itself is absolutely magical. Nestled far away from the noise and distractions, it feels like a hidden sanctuary in the desert—a little heaven where time slows down and all you hear is the calm silence of nature. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and recharge. The food deserves a special mention. Without exaggeration, it was the best food we had in all of Morocco. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with such care that dining became an experience in itself. Sharing meals here felt authentic and warm, making us feel at home even while being so far away. What stood out most was how relaxing everything felt. Whether it was sitting under the stars, enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings, or simply having tea in peace, every moment at Dunes Clave was pure serenity. If you’re looking for a place that combines outstanding hospitality, unforgettable food, and an idyllic location far from the crowds, then Dunes Clave is the perfect choice. I can’t recommend it enough—it’s not just a stay, it’s an experience that will stay with you long after you leave.

Great location just 5 minutes walk to the dunes to enjoy sunset. Room was comfy and clean. House is nice decorated inside in rustical Berber style. Best is to have dinner on the terrace under the stars.

Wow where do we start. We were picked up from Merzouga and taken to the camp free of charge by a lovely diver. On arrival to camp we were greeted by Mimoun who was very welcoming. We had tea and snacks before we headed to our tent. We spent the night around the fire with everyone in the camp, where Mimoun and the rest of the boys played the drums and sang traditional songs. Everyone in camp was included and we learnt how to play the beat on the drums. Mimoun shared the meaning of the songs and we all sat around chatting until it was time for bed. We did two activities which I highly recommend: 4x4 tour and ATV sunset tour. The 4x4 tour guide Brahim (the cowboy) showed us native plants and what they are used for, Berber life in the desert and was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The ATV tour was unforgettable. This is a must do if you come here. We went to the most amazing lookouts with the most picturesque scenes. The room was large and functional with extra blankets to suit the winter climate. It did get quite cold but the blankets kept us warm. Every staff member was absolutely lovely and super welcoming. I 100% recommend this camp and would return if I ever come back!

Small camp in the middle of the dessert. We were only ones. Attached to lodging are dinner (20 euro per person) and camels transfer (40 euro per person). Breakfast back in riad is included. Gambi did his best to host us. Food was good. There was a small music performance. Overall, it is one of the several camps in the desert - experience is worth it

My stay at Aurum Dunes Luxury Camp exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and every detail was carefully thought out to make guests feel comfortable. The food was delicious, offering a great variety of traditional and fresh dishes. The highlight of my visit was the camel ride to the dunes at sunset an incredible experience with breathtaking views and perfect photo opportunities. The staff were kind, professional, and always ready to help, making the whole stay feel special. I highly recommend this camp to anyone visiting Merzouga or the Sahara it’s the perfect combination of luxury, nature, and authentic desert adventure.

Location was great and the staff were really helpful and friendly even it’s difficult for them working during Ramadan(without food and water at daytime ),but they were always on their way to make our stay comfortable thanks to Ibrahim,hassan and our driver 4*4 driver omar👍

Beautiful hotel. Excellent location, right on the dunes. We went for a walk on the dunes every evening we were there and watch the sunset, right on our backyard! We also had a room which looks out onto the dunes. Great to watch the sun rises over the desert from the bed! Excellent host, Ibrahim and his team made us feel so welcomed. He even organised a short trip for us to go on the dunes and tried sandboarding.
