Staying at Dunes Clave was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and cared for. Our host, Moha, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—he is not only extremely hospitable but also very well-organized, which made our stay feel effortless and stress-free. The location itself is absolutely magical. Nestled far away from the noise and distractions, it feels like a hidden sanctuary in the desert—a little heaven where time slows down and all you hear is the calm silence of nature. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and recharge. The food deserves a special mention. Without exaggeration, it was the best food we had in all of Morocco. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with such care that dining became an experience in itself. Sharing meals here felt authentic and warm, making us feel at home even while being so far away. What stood out most was how relaxing everything felt. Whether it was sitting under the stars, enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings, or simply having tea in peace, every moment at Dunes Clave was pure serenity. If you’re looking for a place that combines outstanding hospitality, unforgettable food, and an idyllic location far from the crowds, then Dunes Clave is the perfect choice. I can’t recommend it enough—it’s not just a stay, it’s an experience that will stay with you long after you leave.

Great location just 5 minutes walk to the dunes to enjoy sunset. Room was comfy and clean. House is nice decorated inside in rustical Berber style. Best is to have dinner on the terrace under the stars.

Wow where do we start. We were picked up from Merzouga and taken to the camp free of charge by a lovely diver. On arrival to camp we were greeted by Mimoun who was very welcoming. We had tea and snacks before we headed to our tent. We spent the night around the fire with everyone in the camp, where Mimoun and the rest of the boys played the drums and sang traditional songs. Everyone in camp was included and we learnt how to play the beat on the drums. Mimoun shared the meaning of the songs and we all sat around chatting until it was time for bed. We did two activities which I highly recommend: 4x4 tour and ATV sunset tour. The 4x4 tour guide Brahim (the cowboy) showed us native plants and what they are used for, Berber life in the desert and was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The ATV tour was unforgettable. This is a must do if you come here. We went to the most amazing lookouts with the most picturesque scenes. The room was large and functional with extra blankets to suit the winter climate. It did get quite cold but the blankets kept us warm. Every staff member was absolutely lovely and super welcoming. I 100% recommend this camp and would return if I ever come back!

The camp is in the middle of the dunes, very far from all other camps so it's the perfect desert experience. The host is very welcoming, good at communication and really flexible in adapting to your preferences. Prices were communicated in advance and very reasonable.

The camp is located right at the edge of erg chebbi. There are quite a few activities (we did the 3h tour + lunch, ATV and cammel trekking). We were charged fairly for them as per previous agreement. The tent was very comfortable. Hassan who was there daily and took us on activities was extremely friendly.

A Dream Stay at Aurum Dunes Luxury Camp! I recently had the most unforgettable experience at Aurum Dunes Luxury Camp in Merzouga, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was beyond exceptional—the staff welcomed us like family, offering traditional Moroccan tea as we took in the breathtaking views of the golden dunes. The tents were pure luxury—spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities you’d expect from a high-end retreat. Waking up to the sunrise over the dunes was truly magical, and the tranquility of the desert made it feel like a dream. But the highlight of our stay? The off-road ITV adventure! Riding across the dunes in a powerful buggy was an absolute adrenaline rush. The guide was experienced and ensured we had a thrilling yet safe ride, making it one of the best experiences of my life! Evenings at the camp were just as special—delicious traditional food, live Berber music under the stars, and a cozy campfire where we shared stories with fellow travelers. Everything about Aurum Dunes felt authentic, warm, and incredibly well-organized. If you’re looking for a perfect mix of luxury, adventure, and true Moroccan hospitality, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The most beautiful hotel! With the nicest staff. In a good location close to the road and gas station, but with a view of the dunes! The view from the pool arch is reliable and leaves an unforgettable impression for life! Very nice water in the pool. The pool area is equipped with everything you need, as well as a shower and toilets nearby. The rooms are very beautiful in the minimalist style of Morocco, with WORKING air conditioners and attention to every detail! We were especially impressed by the hand carving above the bed area! We tried breakfast, as well as lunch. We were full, satisfied, everything that we asked for on request vegetarianism was done and served in the most beautiful way! It was very tasty! There is always a bar where you can buy soft drinks. And there are also activity services. We took a camel ride through the Sahara, it was very cool! An unforgettable impression for all life! Thank you very much for your hospitality and we hope to return again to this wonderful hotel! This is truly a PEARL in the desert!

It’s my best experience in Morocco. Mohamed and his family are nice, humble and fun. They made our stay like at home . Breakfast and Dinner was incredible. music at night near the fire was magic. Tents are basic but clean. Will go there again next time.
