Staying at Dunes Clave was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and cared for. Our host, Moha, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—he is not only extremely hospitable but also very well-organized, which made our stay feel effortless and stress-free. The location itself is absolutely magical. Nestled far away from the noise and distractions, it feels like a hidden sanctuary in the desert—a little heaven where time slows down and all you hear is the calm silence of nature. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and recharge. The food deserves a special mention. Without exaggeration, it was the best food we had in all of Morocco. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with such care that dining became an experience in itself. Sharing meals here felt authentic and warm, making us feel at home even while being so far away. What stood out most was how relaxing everything felt. Whether it was sitting under the stars, enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings, or simply having tea in peace, every moment at Dunes Clave was pure serenity. If you’re looking for a place that combines outstanding hospitality, unforgettable food, and an idyllic location far from the crowds, then Dunes Clave is the perfect choice. I can’t recommend it enough—it’s not just a stay, it’s an experience that will stay with you long after you leave.

The location is great. Just walk 10 minutes across the road and you will enter the desert. The owner offered a very reasonable price for us to ride camels into the desert to watch the sunset and enjoy the golden desert. It was beautiful. We also took the Merzouga 4X4 tour to enjoy the black desert, Berber villages, and African music.

Camel ride to camp with a stop in middle of Dunes catch sunset We decided to try a one-hour quad bike ride across the dunes which turned out to be one of the most fun and adventurous parts of the trip Our guide made sure we were safe while still allowing us to explore freely and enjoy the views -even stopping to take some incredible photos The combination of excitement peace and cultural immersion made our stay truly special Every detail from the warm welcome to the thoughtful service reflected great hospitality and care We can confidently say this was one of the highlights of our Morocco journey and we would recommend Sahara horizon Camp to anyone looking for an authentic yet luxurious desert experience and I went tell you Mohamed thank you so much

The Gambi camp is one of a kind. Very natural, you get everything you need. Gambi is a great host. We had the best desert experience ever!! I highly recommend the place. And definitely take the camels. One again Thank you Gambi.

Amazing place, we had a room overlooking the dunes! Absolutely magical! The staff were very friendly, they were all locals but spoke great English, especially Ismail and Yusef (sorry not sure about spelling) were exceptionally friendly. The rooms were beautifully and tastefully decorated with a lot of Maroccan accents and the rooms were absolutely spotless. The swimming pool is just like on the photos, such a great feature!! The hotel offers great activities like going on a jeep to see the sunrise, sandboarding etc etc. The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations, the best place!!!

Everything about Desert Berber fire camp was amazing. We came very early in Merzouga, at 6.10am, and Mohamed was so polite and pick us up at the bus station. We came to Riad to rest for fiew hours. Later we did a trip with Omar to the black desert, the gnawa music , the mines and Nomad family . When we came back, around 4pm, we started the camel ride to Desert Berber fire camp in the desert. The accommodation was basic but not bad for one night .We had time to walk around dunes, take pictures and play sand boarding on the dunes. When the night fell we had dinner and after dinner they lighted a fire and played music. In the morning we woke up to see the sunrise.This was a wonderful experience, Mohamed and all the others were really friendly and nice, we definitely recommend.
