Personal touch: Mimoun rang us up before we arrived in Nkob to tell us he will be waiting for us at the bus station to take us to the hotel by foot. We were offered hospitality by being given tea served on the wonderful terrace where uninterrupted views of the picturesque parts of Nkob can be admired. The buiding: La perle de Saghro is a typical casbah house. It has a wealth of original features. The building is being restored in its past splendour in a traditional way. Our room was very comfortable and was very morrocan in traditional casbah style. The room was opening into a pretty coutyard stocked with plants and bushes.The ceiling was supported by palm tree beams. It was great to spend a night inside the casbah. The hotel was quiet, and the staff was responsive. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty. Knob has plenty of traditional architecture. People take pride in their culture and are happy to share information with strangers. Our only regret is not having prolonged our stay at this hotel.

Kasbah Ennakb is a truly beautiful and cozy place! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and smooth, making our stay incredibly relaxing. The rooms are charming, clean, and designed to make you feel at home. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food. Every meal was bursting with authentic Moroccan flavors, and the tagines were simply the best we’ve ever had! Whether it was breakfast or dinner, every bite was a delight. The ambiance of Kasbah Ennakb is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and soak in the beauty of the area. We can’t recommend this place enough—it’s a must-visit for anyone traveling to the region! 10/10 experience!

The place, the facilities, the food, the staf, the view(!!!), the pool, really everything. The hosts are group of nice people, all of them. Even the little things make a difference like candlelight parfum in the rooms. Fantastic place!

One of the best stays we had in Morocco! Brahim was the perfect host, helpful before, during and after our stay at his place. The tajin was delicious, and he also gave us the best tea we had. He also explained a lot of interesting stuff about the Berebers and the hikking tours he aorganizes. Brahim, ojalá vernos otra vez! Big hug from Ari and me.

Very clean and well kept ! Great location on a beautiful road from Dades to Agdz. People are very kind. Food excellent. I only write reviews when exceptional. This certainly is.

Owner was attentive yet allowed space to do as I pleased. He also invited me into his home to meet his family and see the view. The fittings are all good quality and comfortable bed and duvet ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This house increased our standard of living. It has lovely gardens, beautifully decorated rooms, and plenty of space to feel at peace. Just a few minutes away from Nkob, Auberge Bassou is like a peaceful oasis. Simple but tastefully decorated rooms around a lovely, green courtyard with lots of birds. Ibrahim and his sister running the place understand exactly their guests’ needs. There is great care in everything they do, from meals (excellent dinner, or a quick-fix meal in the afternoon) to an amazing tour in the Jebel Saghro. When we mentioned, that the next day while crossing the mountain towards Todra gorge, we were planning to do a few hours hike (by the way, the road to the north from Nkob towards Boumalna and Tinghir hardly shows up on Google maps but is in excellent condition), Ibrahim assured us that it was a great idea, told us about the tour he does for groups, usually 3 to 5 people, but not pushing us, nor trying to sell us anything. Still, we took up his offer and changed our schedule, and it became the absolute highlight of our ten days in Morocco. The central section of the Jebel Saghro is an amazing area, and having Ibrahim as our guide all day made it even more memorable (not to mention making it accessible without doing a 4-5 day hike which wasn’t an option for us). Spending an hour and a half with an Amazigh family, getting at least a hint of how they live out and beyond, without getting a ‘show’ for the tourists, was truly beyond our expectations (it took just 20 mins for my daughter and the three young girls of the family to become best friends even if without a common language). If you make it as far as Nkob, don’t miss this place.

Wonderful, peaceful, very well maintained kasbah. The staff was very friendly and smiling, food was excellent, everything was perfect ! Best stay of our 5 days trip in the south
