The Kasbah is a beautiful oasis in the Skoura palmeraie oasis, tastefully decorated and curated in every detail. It can be reached easily via car: though there are no directions on the road itself (which is understandable), Waze or Google maps provide perfect indications and the property sends you messages with directions - it's very difficult to miss. The kasbah is just out of a dream: cypresses surround the gardens and the pool, the sundbeds have soft sun-bathing mattresses, there's several pieces of Morrocan furnitures in all the spaces. They provide dinner with a fixed menu, which was very tasty and had a reasonable price, given they source everything organically and they have very high standards. The staff goes out of their way to quickly provide you with Morroccan tea and towels and they communicate in French and English and we had no problem at all with communication: special mention to Mohammed who would always try to anticipate your needs with a smile and a welcoming approach. We had a room on the last floor overlooking the pool and the palmeraie, which was a breathtaking view. The room had a cozy bed area, and another two rooms for the toilet and the bathroom, where hot water never lacked. There may be drafts coming from doors and windows, which are perfectly manageable with all the blankets provided in the room: these are minor inconveniences that can be expected given it's an old (despite perfectly renovated) building in the middle of Skoura. It was an amazing stay. The structure is simple but gorgeous, with a nice internal garden with vegetables and fruits. The hosts are a group of young, local people with an amazing project: sharing local culture and transmitting local values. This has made our stay warm and authentic. They prepared for us an amazing dinner, cooked on the spot, with fresh vegetables picked from the garden. We enjoyed the dinner in front of the fireplace. It was incredible. We highly recommend and encourage this authentic experience!

We stayed for one night en route between Dades Gorge and Imlil and it was a great choice! The room was spacious and spotless with crisp white linen and towels. We also appreciated the extra length bed because we're both tall - it really was a large king size! Another big plus is that there is a shower curtain and a surface for toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was an ample portion of egg, homemade bread with preserves, and yogurt with mint tea, coffee and orange juice. Abdelmoula and Nadia were wonderfully welcoming hosts! Abdelmoula is extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave us great advice for making the most of our next day.

This was definitely one of the highlights of our 14-days Morocco trip. We stayed for three nights in this beautiful kasbah. It has a lovely huge garden where you can eat the dinner and breakfast. The room was big and had everything we needed. The hosts are some of the loveliest people we met. We suggest you also have dinner here as well, as it was the best food we have had in our whole trip. And the portions are huge. If we are ever in the area again, we will surely come visit again. Thank you so much for a great experience!

We made this our base for a brief trip away from Marrakesh...

We made this our base for a brief trip away from Marrakesh because of the oasis. Definitely worth coming to see the old way of life as a contrast to the city, and the mud brick kasbahs. I wouldn't bother staying for more than a couple of days unless you're happy doing very little. Nothing to do once it gets dark.

The hotel is fairly remote, and you will need either to hire a car or as we did use transport provided by the hotel for trips to the local market, palm groves, oasis, etc. "Maison 'd'hote Amridril" is a charming small venue. About six rooms only which form a row of low buildings in traditional style. Provisions are basic but adequate, the ornamental gardens are stocked with a abundant variety of plants and food can be provided on site cooked in the kitchen using produce from the hotel's own gardens. The swimming pool is a major feature, clean and well maintained and a couple of visitors arrived from other local hotels without one to use the pool. Overall, the hotel, having only six rooms is very quiet and peaceful. Aziz the manager and his assistants could not do enough to make our stay pleasant. I would return without question for a few quiet days at "Maison d'hote Amridril".

Very accommodating host.

Very accommodating host. The only issue was the mattress, which was changed as soon as it was brought to the host's notice. Meals were prepared by the lady of the house. Breakfast was included, evening meal was optional. Wifi was excellent. The hosts own palm and pomegranate orchards locally, and offered tours within his family's ownership and around the vast & historic Skoura oasis, with its many and varied casbahs. There is a range of places to eat in Skoura, an interesting street market and good banking.

a very lively town, with terraces, shops, they hold a market and there is even a huge and very lively weekly market, its people are very nice and it is a town that deserves a stop, there is a very important and almost unvisited kasbah, without crowds, a 10!!!

This is just my personal opinion, but it's definitely worth...

This is just my personal opinion, but it's definitely worth the trip. A real change of scenery! Dar Lorkam is highly recommended. The welcome and service were top-notch. A huge thank you again to the owners and all the staff.

This place is simply amazing! Very very very clean, beautiful design - the best place in which we stayed during 10 days in Morocco. Fatima and Ahmed are lovely and tagine that Fatima cooked for us was also the best meal we’ve had during our trip. And we could eat it by the fireplace. Photos do not capture the beauty of this place - it is waaay better. Breakfast was expectional. If we ever come back to Morocco we would come again to Ahmed and Fatima with no doubt.

This farm was really fantastic! Both brothers were really friendly and helpful. The way to get there is not so easy, but the place is really great for relax. Everything was clear, dinner was fantastic and morning omolette also :-) I can only recomend to stay there. Unfortunattely we had only one night, but I hope in our next visit to Morocco we will stay there longer. Thank you for everything and hope to see you again! Michal

Staying in a traditional kasbah was interesting — a spacious area with carpets, where we ate the best homemade food of our 10-day journey through Morocco. The breakfast was also excellent, with food grown and prepared locally, which we ate on a pleasant terrace. If you want to enjoy an authentic Moroccan experience of staying in a traditional kasbah and savoring food in the Skoura oasis, this is an excellent choice.
