We stay here every year, and it is undoubtedly the best hotel by the Black Lake. We always book the top floor room with a fireplace. The views are stunning, and the tranquility is absolute. It is a perfect retreat. The rooms are spotless, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Breakfast is impeccable, and you can always order additional coffee, which is simply superb, along with a delicious omelet. During the colder months, the fireplace is pure magic. I highly recommend this hotel to all family couples. We will definitely return with our whole family.

Amazing location, wonderful views! Free ice cream, coffee and tea were a great extra! Super friendly staff who accommodated every request (calling taxi’s, very early check-out…). This was a beautiful apartment with stunning views over the mountains. The apartment was warm, stylish, cosy, very well fitted out and with lots of little details to make a stay a comfortable one. The outdoor seating area, with the hot tub and fire pit was a real treat after a day exploring. The apartment is handy for the National Park, the Black Lake and we found a great walk starting just down the road in Podgora village with amazing views over the Tara river canyon. The owner of the property was lovely, very kind and helpful - he even brought me and my daughter a pair of homemade socks each to celebrate international women's day! Such a lovely gesture! Would highly recommend a stay here.
