The place was really spatious: A whole unit with two bwdrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and dining room for an unbeatable price. Very clean, hot water, comfy beds, breakfast included. Not 800m away from airport as advertised. 2.5km, 10 min. by car, so no walking during nighttime!! They will pick you up at the airport. Small car: 25.000MGA dayrate, 35.000MGA nightrate. I got picked up around midnight, staff meets you at gate, holds your hand all the way to vehicle, where driver is waiting, very niiice. Someone will take your luggage, and carry it to vehicle, have tip ready. Suggested tip 1/2 to 1€, or 2.000 to 5.000 MGA Friendly staff, good communication (in english) via whats app. Thank you for a nice (short) stay.

Not many bars/restaurants to choose among. Some roads are not even asphalted yet. Most of properties look like prisons due to the barbed wire on the walls of houses. You are about 50 minutes driving far from the city centre, but close to Croc farm, worth a visit.

For me, it's a stopover city, in transit to Diego Suarez.

For me, it's a stopover city, in transit to Diego Suarez. This side of the island is cold for an island holiday; when it's 22 degrees at midnight in Diego, it's 12 degrees at Ivato airport, you need a duvet in the evening in September.

Beautiful garden and panoramic views, a quiet and relaxing establishment, but best suited for a short stay as it's far from tourist attractions. Taxis are necessary for daily travel. The immediate surroundings are uninteresting (a small village with a few shacks and no accessible shops). The staff are very welcoming.

Very convenient location for both international and domestic flights. Both airports are within walking distance from the hotel. Hotel's free airport shuttle was very comfortable and readily available both on arrival and departure flights. Hotel owners and personnel are very friendly, especially their Italian Cook is very hospitable he makes the best Venetian pizza in town. Highly recommend trying that pizza if you are going to stay in that hotel. :)

Excellent location. Good value for money compared to nearby hotels, as it is more affordable. Very kind and polite staff, always pleasant to interact with. The receptionist was extremely flexible and even agreed to prepare breakfast for us very early in the morning, before the regular breakfast time, because we had an early flight.

The food, service, location, accommodations, the conversations and the people. They went above and beyond I'm every respect. If I misplaced my toothbrush they would literally take me to get a toothbrush, or a legit bank for money exchange, what hotel goes above and beyond to that degree?
