A very special place. We loved the (slightly surreal) wonderful combination of being in a lofty Orthodox monastery, but hearing stylish soft jazz in the eating area during the day. The people who work here are super. The coffee we had easily matched our exacting Sydney standards. Good food is available in the Monastery, and if you are staying longer/able, do yourself a favour and visit the restaurant further up the mountain - the food there is off the hook, and views over the mountains to match. A very special stay. Thank you.

Hotel Kratis is located just outside (as in 1 minute walk) historic center which meant no scary driving on narrow streets. Free, gated parking was provided in hotel courtyard. My room was huge, with a lovely view of one of the medieval towers. Area was quiet, bed and pillow comfortable, I slept well. The hotel has an elevator. Cook to order breakfast was included in the price and was delicious. Highly recommend, would stay again.

It's wonderdully located on the outskirts so you get a countryside vibe but also 5 minutes' drive from the town centre. The lodging was very clean and the beds comfortable.

Beautiful old house, the oldest one among all accomodations in Kratovo, run by a local guide and his father, extremely hospitable and caring! I had absolute great time there, my motorbike was safely parked and covered when rain started. Definitely the best place to stay in Kratovo!

The location is wonderful, it is pretty safe place, the bed was so good we slept perfectly there. The owner showed us the best restaraunt in the town we loved to be there and eat delicious food, it's not expensive at all. I would love to come back to Kryva Palanka in Rustic house.
