Very helpful staff, green territory, near center of the city. Room clean and comfotrable. Doesn't feel any electricity problem. They organise our tour on Inle lake

Owner is just amazing, she will make sure you feel comfortable. Everything prepared in the room, around the place - for you. She even cooked for me the lunch box for my bus from Inle to Bagan.

I liked the hotel. The room is large, everything is clean, breakfast is normal. There are problems with electricity, like everywhere else, but the hotel has solar panels and a generator. Not very good wifi. The staff is wonderful - they organized boat and car excursions to Pindaya and helped us buy bus tickets to Bagan. After visiting this hotel, I now think that the main wealth of Myanmar is the people of this country.

I booked 7 nights at Trinity Family Inn but ended up staying a total of 12 nights. I love Nyaung Shwe and was able to experience Thingyan or Water Festival. Biking and photographing in Nyaung Shwe is very relaxing and enjoyable and the area is beautiful. (Bikes are free) Inle Lake is also close by if you want to experience that area. Nyaung Shwe is 2,900+ feet above sea level so it is also cooler than Yangon and other parts of Myanmar. At Trinity Family Inn, I was treated like family. Ma Htwe, Aung, and May Naw Soe took very good care of me. If I needed something, they were on it. Their rooms are spacious and very clean. There was always plenty of drinking water and the air con and wifi worked well. On the premises, there are plenty of flowers and plants so it is a little oasis. You are very close to the market and there are restaurants nearby but I ate dinner a number of times at Trinity Family Inn. Ma Htwe is a very good cook and make sure you try her egg curry. Breakfast was local food or western food plus there was always plenty of fresh fruit and fruit juice. I often talked with Ma Htwe and learned more about the area and Myanmar in general. Very friendly people! For the price of the room, it is a great value!

I have been coming to Gypsy Inn for more than a decade because I love the hospitality of this wonderful family. It is a good location if you want to be close to the pier where the boats leave to Inle Lake. The room was spacious with high ceilings and I got clean, white bed sheets and towels. Windows have mosquito nets - I had not a single mosquito in my room. You can book tours and busses to Bagan or Yangon / Mandalay at the reception. The room rates are among the best in town and it used to be THE guesthouse backpackers hung out at before NyaungShwe was flooded with hotels. Nowadays many hotels are closed but the Gypsy is still up and running. If you are on a budget and look for a familiar atmosphere then come here.

it’s a small guest house, the staff is amazing, helpfull and friendly. Expect the quality of want you pay. For me it was perfect. I was looking for, good location, friendly staff, and good price, and it’s what I got.
