We needed to be up for the early ferry departure to Sicily. It worked perfectly. They had a taxi for us at 5.30 in the morning. Very nice staff. Small but very functional hotel for a good price.

I stayed with a friend at the apartment from August 24th to 30th and we were very pleased with our stay. Although an unexpected issue came up (which could happen to anyone and was not caused by the host), the response was immediate and handled perfectly. The room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Another great advantage is that it is right next to the bus stops and very close to the beautiful Valletta. I would definitely recommend this accommodation without hesitation!

We had the best time staying at Jeanelle’s apartment! The accommodation was exactly as described and had all the necessary amenities. It’s super spacious, the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable, and there’s a lovely balcony overlooking the street. The host provided helpful guides, maps, and information about the ongoing celebrations. We were even treated to some local Maltese snacks and the famous Kinnie. The location is perfect and felt very local - just outside Valletta, with an easy 10-minute trip to the city centre. It’s also ideal if you’re planning to explore the island by bus, as one of the main bus stops is just a 2-minute walk away, making it easy to reach almost any destination. There’s also a great bar just around the corner, which is worth checking out on Fridays for its jazz night. 10/10—highly recommend!

This property was absolutely perfect for our needs. Fully equipped, clean and comfortable. We only ate breakfast in, but you could fully cook if you want to, everything provided. The location gives easy access to the centre of Valletta and the majority of sights. We walked everywhere we wanted to see. Local shop had all the supplies we needed for our stay.

The property isn't perfect (for example, opening/closing the bathroom door is a bit scary), but I give it maximum of points because other reviewers unjustly underrated it and we absolutely loved staying there! The bed is very confortable, the location is perfect (while pretty close to city center, it's far from the noise of the city), the kitchen is equipped with everything, the wall plugs are universal and the the interior design is both pleasing the eye and functional. Regarding the high vapour content of the air: you can get rid of it keeping both the downstairs door and the windows from upstairs opened. And during the day opening the panels on the front door result in plenty of natural light in the living room. Next time we'll go to Valletta, surely we will book this property again!

    Elegant gardens to walk and sit in. Peaceful walk through the Mall Gardens to the Triton Fountain and into beautiful Valetta . Floriana is a residential area and not just full of holiday rentals. Excellent access to public transport.

    The area was a great location for access to Valletta Waterfront and the city centre including the main bus terminal with buses to all parts of Malta. Also good access to ferries to Gozo and Three Cities.

    This was our first time visiting Malta.

    This was our first time visiting Malta. Il furjana is full of interesting buildings and historical sights. We went on two bus tours one to the north and one to the south of the island and took the ferry across to Sliema. We learned a lot about the history of Malta whilst on the tours,Well worth doing. After moving from the awful Tritoni Boutique Valetta hotel we managed to book last minute a room at the Cumberland Hotel for 5 nights, perfectly situated right in the heart of Valetta amongst lots of bars and restaurants. We also stayed one night at the Grand Excelsior ten minutes walk from Valetta with lovely views across the bay as the Cumberland were fully booked and couldn’t accommodate us for the total of 6 nights Both hotels were excellent. The rooms were large, very clean, the beds comfortable with perfect bed linen, bathroom toiletries abundant. In addition breakfast options were vast. Well presented, fresh and your choice of hot breakfasts provided on request. I’m celiac and nothing was too much trouble for either hotel. The Cumberland provided a vast array of cooked breakfasts with Gluten free options. the Grand Hotel Chef offered to make me gluten free pancakes too if I wanted them but they had a choice of gluten free breads, muffins, lots of fruit and much, much more more. I would definitely go back to Valetta.

    Visit Malta make sense only if you have (for some reason)...

    Visit Malta make sense only if you have (for some reason) connecting flights so you have an after noon or a day to kill, otherwise it is wasting of time and money. Literally, avoid it and go to Italy or Spain instead.

    Furjana is an old quarter next to Valletta with real Maltese architecture. It is excellent for the stay of tourists who want to be practically in Valletta and close to the main bus station from which buses leave for the whole island.
