The staff was ready to assist if we needed anything; they are very kind and flexible. The room was spacious and very clean, close to a supermarket and a bus stop. There is a café inside where we could have breakfast at a very reasonable price.

Everything we tried from the breakfast was fantastic some of the best food we had, the staff were also very helpful with any queries and even helping out after checking out were allowed to use the facilities.

I was really suprised. I ordered hotel half year before my holiday. The price was perfect. I didn’ t think it will be so amazing. The stuff (receptionists, managers, waiters, cleaning stuff…) - BRAVO! Everybody were polite, smily, helpful. The hotel was shiny clean, breakfast tasty, accomodation comfrtable. Conection to Valletta was wery easy. Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops were very close. Despite the hotel is in “city centre” is quiet. The swimming pool on the roof top is in price. The view is stunning. Thank you for beautifull holiday. Will come back again.

Fast check-in, big room as shown in the pictures, with splendid view of the bay, full mobility from the hotel to visit the island (bus stop in front of the hotel, 10 min walk to ferry station for Valletta). English type breakfast, many options, I tried something different each day. Visited briefly the spa area, didn't use it.

    I like to stay in Gzira, but to travel from here to other destinations in Malta. Gzira is noisy, dusty, too much traffic. Good enough to stay to sleep and to travel/swim/visit anywhere else in Malta. Gzira = good base for trips.

    The district is very practical, close to boats and ferry, the harbor promenade is plenty of life yet 10 min drive by ferry to Valletta where most of cultural, gastronomic and leisure activities happens.

    It is a good location with easy access by bus or taxi to Valletta and good views of Valletta across the harbour. It doesn’t have a beach but we got the bus over to Fond Ghadir beach (flat rocks not sandy) and the Roman baths cut into the rock, which was good fun. We ate at Tiffany’s and the Michelin rated Ayubowan, both excellent.

    Il-Gżira was the perfect place to stay during my trip to Malta. It's centrally located with easy access to everything, and staying here gave me the flexibility to explore the island properly. If you're planning your itinerary, I highly recommend starting with a harbor cruise that includes the Three Cities, it's a beautiful and relaxed way to understand Malta’s history and layout. From there, hop-on hop-off buses are a great way to see the main sights around the island at your own pace. Next, don’t miss the full-day cruise to Gozo and Comino. The crystal-clear waters of the Blue Lagoon are as amazing as they look in photos, and Gozo’s charm is well worth the visit. One thing to note: most tour flyers in Sliema leave out two absolute must-see, the St. Peter’s Pool Beach, a natural rock formation perfect for swimming and cliff diving, and Popeye Village, a quirky, colorful film set-turned-theme-park that’s fun even just to walk around. These are a bit off the beaten path but absolutely worth the extra effort! Il-Gżira itself has a relaxed vibe with plenty of restaurants and easy connections to the rest of the island. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it as a smart base for discovering Malta!

    Highly recommend to stay at ll-Gżira, so central and you can go anywhere with ease. And its not too crowded, with lots of nice restaurants and shops. Sightseeing tours are easy access. Buses are frequent

    I would recommend Il-Gzira and the Bayview Hotel as an excellent base for your holiday in Malta. Wonderful promenade extending for miles towards Sliema and St. Julian's. Great transport connections on the doorstep for travel all around the island. Several beaches in the vicinity. Hugh range of restaurants and bars in Il-Gzira/Sliema and lovely old streets and squares to explore. 10 minute walk to the Ferry Terminals and 3mins by ferry over to the capital Valetta. I thought the prices for buses and ferries were very reasonable and prices in bars and restaurants in general were very good and offered excellent value for money.
