I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cerviola Hotel for my wedding anniversary, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. Due to the hotel being under renovation, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a whole flat. Having our own front door and complete autonomy was a fantastic touch, allowing us to truly relax and celebrate without any disturbances. The upgrade made our anniversary even more special, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate. The staff were accommodating and the amenities were top-notch. Overall, our stay at the Cerviola Hotel was exceptional, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and luxurious getaway.

We loved everything in Casa Rosanna. Beautiful room, stunning view, delicious breakfast - buffet and every day different hot section. Coffee available 24/7 which is awesome and staff was so friendly, ladies on reception are so kind and welcoming. Would definitely return.

everything… communication with Howard is a breeze. I particularly like the property facing the water front and being able to take morning walks along the side walks without having to drive. I also enjoyed sitting at the balcony at the end of day to unwind and watch the sun sets.

The bay area is lovely and full of cafes and eateries many of which are reasonably priced. Walking round the harbour (right side as you face it from the main bus stop) there are a number of constructed salt pans designed to provide a home for sea life when the tide is out which was really interesting to see. A bit further along was a newly renovated fort, St Thomas Tower, which had an incredibly interesting history focusing on piracy and the corsairs! The only downside to staying in Marsaskala was the extensive work being carried out on the harbour front itself which blocked the lovely view while sitting in the cafes.

If you are looking for a quiet area to stay, away from the...

If you are looking for a quiet area to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of Malta's more well-known tourist areas, Marsaskala is the ideal choice, being located 10-20 minutes by car from Birgu and Valletta. In the harbour area there are numerous restaurants, bars and pastry shops where you can find both local and international dishes.

Marsakala is a lovely place.

Marsakala is a lovely place. The locals are so friendly and helpful. There is a regular bus services that can take you all over the island. There are plenty of bars and restaurants which offer traditional Maltese food if you wish to try, and also lots of other international cuisines, all of which were lovely.

Enough restaurants to choose.

Enough restaurants to choose. Really nice beaches and very safe circumstansies for a walk in the municipalitiy. Well equiepped shops, kind staff anywhere. Buses are clean and fast, we were satisfied with them. Missing some cultural evenings (e.g. concerts) - our stay was at the end of September. But maybe at main time (June-August) they would be available, please check it. Small town with a very good beaches, they makes us feel happy.

Quiet fishing bay with more locals than tourists. Water is super clean here and safe swimming straight off the rocks. Great beach bars with tasty food and fantastic happy hours. A fabulous array of super high quality restaurants (not cheap). TalFamija and Nargile Lounge were particularly good along with Legends for cocktails.

+ Plenty of opportunity to enjoy food, drinks. + Very nice local buildings (old and new). The "Corsairs and Pirates" Museum in the St Thomas Tower ( and the tower itself) is a non-advertised hidden pearl of the island. + Small enough to walk around on foot + Close enough to a long list of "must see" places. - There are better beach areas on Malta.

We loved our stay in this apartment! From the warm welcome by Edmond to the amazing views over Marsaskala. From the fast WIFI to the very comfortable bed! The apartment is very close to shops, restaurants and takeaways, whilst the picturesque harbour is always there to admire. Great walks from the door too! In fact, we could not fault anything at all and we would already love to return soon.

Apartment is very big with amazing terace on top floor. Location is also great only a small walk from the beach and hotel renting rhis apartment is right across the road where delicious breakfast were served. This apartment is great choice for vstay.
