"Il Bekka Suites" is definitely a unique authentic place, built and designed from the heart with love! From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt surrounded with a sense of comfort and relaxation that continued throughout my entire stay. This place is beyond amazing; words fail to capture its uniqueness, warm and inviting atmosphere. Starting from the lovely welcoming from Ms.Mili, that was very helpful, recommending the best spots and restaurants, to the beautiful interior that is decorated with a keen attention to every detail, creating a cozy and welcoming ambiance. I was lucky enough to meet the owner, and he explained to me the meaning and the concept of the place, (The place where the woman of the house is comfortable) ..My room was designed in the style of a "Courtyard" , with the tiles, lamp, plants, and canvas.. Each room has a special unique type! The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated with a mix of classic touches Great location with a walking distance to the best historical attractions. I can't get over the magical moment of chilling in the backyard while having my morning coffee! Such a romantic getaway and a peaceful escape, just the right place for creating wonderful memories! Can't wait for my next stay!

The personel Was amazing, nice and very accommodating. It Was definitely the most clean place I’ve been to in Malta, and the most comfortable. It Was perfect. Very nice housing, amazing location, 2 minutes away from the Mdina Gate. 1 minute away from bus stop. Nice view. The rooms were very clean, comfortable beds. Every day we found a bottle of water for every person in the room, which was very nice, especially in those evenings when we forgot to buy ourselves water. The breakfast was very good, and it offered a good variety. Good coffee, and the staff was very kind.

Rabat is a beautiful town, a short car ride away from the airport or Valletta. Located a short walk from historic walled Mdina, Rabat offers many lovely restaurants, interesting sites such as Saint Paul's Catacombs, and historic buildings. People were very friendly and helpful. We would gladly return to Rabat!

Very good location...central for travelling to other areas of Malta. Unfortunately, the 'new' bus service and its timetable do not share the same planet!! Rabat has an excellent selection of cafés and restaurants.

A beautiful place to stay.

A beautiful place to stay. Full of old Maltese charm and culture. Many restaurants with a special shout to Romans Den where the food and ambiance is amazing. Also within walking distance of Mdina and its rich cultural flavour and horse and carriage rides starting from 35 euro. Access across to other towns and cities is available from the bus terminus where you can purchase a five day travel pass for 20 euro Uber / Bolt are of plenty across the island also.

The buildings are lovely.

The buildings are lovely. There's plenty of places to eat and local sightseeing. The only thing I would comment on is that there aren't any large shops(that we came across, anyway). Lots of small convenience stores and bakeries but only the basics. If you have hired a car or don't mind getting buses to bigger shops then it's a non issue. It wasn't a huge deal anyway, we really enjoyed our stay.

Rabat is a fascinating city.

Rabat is a fascinating city. Make sure you visit Mdina; the catacombs; St Paul’s Grotto; & Domus Romana. Stay at Rabat and it’s an easy walk to the old city of Mdina. It’s lovely to walk around on a balmy summer’s evening - a magical place.

Rabat was a pleasant surprise .

Rabat was a pleasant surprise . It was very pleasant to wander the lanes of the old town , lots of nooks and crannies. Plenty of places to eat and drink , all types , also little shops that you could miss if no time to explore. Locals very friendly and helpful. The place is well serviced by public transport to all other areas of Malta, making it a good place to stay away from the busy crowds of Summer.

The apartment is within walking distance of the lovely town centre of Rabat and its catacombs, and a bit further there's Mdina. It's actually more like a hotel room than an apartment, including a very big bathroom (equipped for the handicapped) and a patio. Instructions for self-check-in were easy to follow. The bed was comfortable.

A quiet and charming family-run hotel located in the heart of Rabat. Everything was perfect, especially the warmth and kindness of the owners. The à la carte breakfast was delicious and varied — you simply pre-order your choices in advance. An amazing experience overall! Mdina is within walking distance.
