The most impressive at the Land's End Boutique Hotel is the incredible views on the Bażilika Santwarju tal-Madonna tal-Karmnu, Valletta, Manoel Island and Sliema shoreline. The reception staff during our stay was exceptional. They make you feel at home and are helpful with any reasonable request that they can resolve within their own expertise. I have rarely seen such dedicated staff. The room was clean and the toiletries were of excellent quality. The rooms were cleaned daily and were very clean. The living room which is available to guests free of charge is another optional service. During the opening hours of the lounge, there are always snacks and drinks available for guests to enjoy. The in-house swimming pool on the eleventh floor invites you to relax and swim and like all other areas, it is very clean. Although the hotel is located on a very busy corner of Sliema, our room was quite quiet and was equipped with almost everything a traveler could wish for, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, and a very good fridge. There are plenty of power sockets and there are even USB ports by the beds for charging your cell phone or tablet.

What an impressive user experience! Our first visit to Malta and stay at the AX Hotel was truly exceptional. For a mere 25 euros extra (note: off-peak season), we could upgrade to an Executive Suite with a private sauna. Arrival: The staff left us impressed with their incredible friendliness. Never before have I been treated so warmly and respectfully in any of my previous hotel stays. Despite the affordable off-peak season rates, we experienced top-notch service that made us feel like VIPs (even though we didn't avail ourselves of such treatment). A huge thank you to the entire hotel team for a fantastic vacation. Room: The Executive Suite was an absolute dream. The view could have been better, but the room was one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in. It was spacious and had everything one could need – simply fantastic. The culinary experience was just mega. The variety and quality of the food exceeded our expectations. The waitstaff were uniformly great, always attentive and friendly. Without a doubt, this hotel must be recommended – from the excellent cuisine to the top-notch service, an all-around successful experience. Finally, we would like to express our sincere thanks to the entire staff for this wonderful vacation. Your outstanding service and the friendly atmosphere made our stay an unforgettable experience. Super, we are very satisfied! Everything is within walking distance, both the centre of Sliema, the ferry and St. Gulian. Close to the beach and the promenade. The hotel is new and super clean. Beds are big and comfortable. Breakfast is very good and varied, something for everyone. The staff is very nice, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Recommended!

I travelled alone for work and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel smelt amazing as soon as I walked in. The shopping mall was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. A special thank you to Laura from the spa, who kindly arranged last minute treatments for me. I loved the accent bathing ritual, the Rebirth Spirit of Neptune massage, and the Venus Bliss facial all wonderfully relaxing in such a serene setting. Back in my room, I enjoyed a delicious wild boar tortellini before having one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time, waking up refreshed and recharged. A truly memorable stay with excellent service, relaxing spa experiences, and great food. I would definitely return to hotel for holidays and take advantage of the beautiful rooftop pool and cocktails.

The stay at Giorgio Boutique Hotel was excellent. The location is very good in Sliema, 5 minutes away from everything. The owners were super nice, they allowed us to check-in earlier, and gave us a free room upgrade. The room was beautifully furnished, with a huge comfy bed. The hotel also has a nice terrace with a jacuzzi. If you want to stay in Sliema, look no further.

Absolutely amazing hotel and the view was gorgeous. I kindly recommend the deluxe double room with sea view for an amazing and authentic experience. Rooms are clean and spacious, the personnel is very kind and helpful. The building is located near the Ferry for Valetta and there are lots or places nearby to go shopping or eating. And a tip for tourists: Use bolt, it’s so much cheaper than the white taxis ✌️

We found Sliema too busy and hectic.

We found Sliema too busy and hectic. Lots of building work going on, the high rise skyline wasn’t appealing. Good transport links to other areas and an excellent ferry service across the harbour to Valletta. Beautiful views of Valletta from the sea front promenade but this road along the harbour was noisy with traffic not relaxing to walk along.

Great base from which to explore Malta.

Great base from which to explore Malta. Good ferry service to / from Valletta. Excellent (but very crowded) bus service to / from Valletta and other locations throughout Malta. Good general and some ‘high end’ shopping. Wide variety of restaurants, bars, takeaways and street food locations. Multiple short and long boat tours. The ‘real’ Sliema in the centre of the peninsula is not touristy. The narrow streets and lanes are well worth exploring on foot. Two excellent waterfront ‘proms’ to walk on (see and be seen). Pity they aren’t connected and continuous.

We stayed there because we were familiar with the area and...

We stayed there because we were familiar with the area and we had a guest with us that had never been before, but we found it very busy, crowded and we moved on to Bugibba and we found this a better feel and environment. Quieter. I have stayed many times at St Julians/ Sliema but I don't think I would in future. It would be a place I visited not stayed in. The shopping centre there in Sliema was good and it was fairly easy to get around.

The Roma Hotel location on the Tower Road where I stayed...

The Roma Hotel location on the Tower Road where I stayed was close to the ferry to Valletta, bus stops were nearby to various places including to the ferry port to Gozo, the long promenade afforded as long a walk as you wished, plenty of restaurants and take aways nearby also, I highly recommend the Fortezza on the promenade, excellent food.

Sliema has a plethora of great restaurants, bars and hotels...

Sliema has a plethora of great restaurants, bars and hotels but we would not however choose to stay there again. The public transport is dreadful, there is noisy building work everywhere and the place itself is very built-up. It almost felt we were in a UK city at times - apart from the fabulous weather that is.

This hotel was amazing! We really felt it was like a 5 star hotel. The location was perfect, there were several restaurants and shops near by. We used Bolt to get anywhere on the island and it was very cheap! The ferry was a 5 minute walk from the hotel and was €2 to reach Valletta which only took 7 minutes. The room was perfect, bathroom and shower were one of the nicest i've seen in a hotel. The pool area was really nice and the room service to the pool was an added plus to enjoy a cocktail.

The Exicel Hotel is really good option for stay in Malta. In Sliema, near sea, close to bus station you can go everywhere around the island very easy. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, breakfast is super small and cute but with everything you need and Mario is the best. 🤗🤗Everything was good organised ( chek in check out etc) and we really enjoyed. Thanks, we reccomend this hotel🤗

This was our second stay at Marea Boutique Hotels, the room was very clean and serviced daily, great facilities with microwave, coffee machine, mini-bar and bottled filtered drinking water. For us the location is perfect, with St Julian's Bay a ten minute walk in one direction and Sliema ferry port (10 mins to Valletta). with bars and restaurants 10 minutes in the other direction.

The location of this hotel is excellent right in the middle part of Sliema and easy access to St Julians and to Valletta. Restaurants and a Costa Coffee on your doorstep. Excursions can be booked at the shop next door to the hotel or across the road.
