Victoria, Gozo is such a beautiful and special place. Walking through its streets feels like stepping into a different world, with its historic charm and peaceful atmosphere. The Cittadella is a highlight—not just for its stunning views but for the sense of history that surrounds you as you explore. I actually live on the outskirts of Victoria and would certainly recommend it to visitors to Gozo and Malta. Gozo is mainly very beautiful with historic villages and many magnificent churches and neolithic remains. Victoria's historic center with its medieval narrow streets, busy squares, restaurants, churches and Citadel feature as the primary attractions. Escape from the heat and buzz of activity by relaxing in the beautiful Villa Rundle Gardens. For opera fans the city does have two opera houses which stage performances in October. The room was perfect, the associated restaurant and café downstairs had some of the best food and cakes we had in all of Malta (a 10% discount is included too if staying in the hotel, which is a very nice touch), and the staff were very friendly.
