We have enjoyed every minute of our vacation in this beautiful resort. It is located in lush park and has great beach. If you like to snorkel, this is the place to go. We've met many very helpful and kind personnel. Special thanks go to mr.Jay on the Suite beach and Mrs. Kavita, which both were extremely professional and always prepared to help. For sure we'll come back soon!

I enjoyed everything the resort had to offer. I especially enjoyed that most activities offered at the resort are free. The breakfast was excellent and it catered to the international palette. We recently spent seven unforgettable days at this hotel with my family, and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel not just welcomed, but truly special - it was like a home away from home. Their genuine care and attention to our needs made us feel like family, consistently checking up on us to ensure our stay was perfect. Safety was never a concern as we felt completely comfortable entrusting our belongings to the staff. The hotel's proximity to restaurants, bars, and the beach added to the convenience of our stay, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local area. While the breakfast might not have boasted a wide variety, it was always delicious, ample, and excellently prepared, starting our days on the best possible note. What truly set this place apart was the unparalleled warmth and friendliness of everyone - from the owners and managers to the car guards. Each person was down-to-earth, caring, and contributed to making our holiday even more special. Staying here genuinely felt like a home away from home. I've never encountered such caring and friendly staff at any hotel before. Our holiday was made all the more special thanks to their amazing hospitality. Highly recommended!

    Balaclava is not the most lively part of Mauritius which suited us perfectly. It consists mostly of vegetable fields, forests and small hamlets. The coast is getting developed with hotels but each is keeping its space so it doesn't feel crowded. You need to rent a car or get a taxi to visit the nearest town, Pamplemousses. There you have the old sugar factory, botanical gardens and a very pleasant shopping mall with a food supermarket.

    Although it was very hot and humid but there always was a cooling breeze along the coast. Couldn`t fault the staff, always very friendly an helpful and the room service was excellent, clean and efficient. We were not a young couple (in out 70s and 80s) and preferred to stay and enjoy the restful facilities of the resort. We could see that young couples with children were having a good time and were more likely to travel around the island in the heat.

    Balaclava is remote so no opportunity to walk anywhere.

    Balaclava is remote so no opportunity to walk anywhere. We were fine with a good dinner and the occasional musician but some might find it boring. We used a driver but if not then you’d need a car to get round the island. It was cyclone season so mixed weather but in general the North of the island has drier sunnier weather than the South.

    wonderful and chearful resort design, I liked it so much.

    wonderful and chearful resort design, I liked it so much. there are free and paid activities it is very good for families. 12 minutes from seewoosagur ramgoolam botanic garden and 15 minutes from port luis by taxi. there are 2 resturants and bar on the beach, there is delicious hot snack bufffet ( 4 - 5 pm).

    The views from the room of the sea are amazing. The swimming pools in the rooms made my stay as I could swim whenever I wanted without the thought of having eyes on me. Which was a big thing for me as I do have anxiety and struggle in public spaces. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I loved the country and the hotel and would hope to be back. If there ever is affordable rooms or villas for families with multiple children, i would be back.

    Hotel is beautiful. We went 'All Inclusive' which was available from the minute we arrived to when we left. Hotel has multiple restaurants and bars and a beach or pools. We found all staff to be friendly and helpful.
