The most beautiful experience I had so far. Now I understand why people pay the buck for the resorts like this. If you haven't tried spending your vacation in a luxurious resort, then try it and you will understand. One of the most beautiful coastlines in Mauritius, the oceanfront suite was just superb. Waking up to that beautiful sunrise and walking to a balcony looking at the postcard view, it's just mind-blowing. The staff is so polite. You even have your own butler :) wow. He's coming to your door at lunch and evening, asking if everything is all right and helping you with anything. The colonial-style architecture is just so cool. Loved every minute of the stay. It was actually the last 1 week of our 3-week vacation in Mauritius, and it was the best decision to leave it at the end of the vacation. We even took a 1,5 hour massage treatment from the spa area after the check-out, before driving to the airport :)

We stayed at the hotel for 11 days in November 2025. We arrived at 9 AM, were immediately invited to breakfast and treated with genuine care. By 11 AM both of our rooms were ready. The rooms were very good overall; only minor wear was noticeable in the bathrooms. We stayed in ocean-front rooms with terraces, literally the first line from the shore, about 50 meters to the beach. Simply fantastic. No complaints regarding in-room equipment or amenities. The sea is wonderful, the beach is clean, well maintained, and pleasantly calm — no one bothers you. Sunbeds and loungers are plentiful, and outdoor showers are available in multiple spots. The hotel pool is well designed, with both a children’s area and a deeper section for adults. There is also an aquapark with slides, which was a great addition and very well implemented. Food was consistently good. The choice is wide, everything is fresh, and even those with a picky palate will find more than enough. Bars throughout the property are more than sufficient, so refreshments are always within reach. We were departing late in the evening and had to check out at 12. The reception staff offered us another room at no cost so we could stay comfortable until departure. The team at the front desk deserves special mention: attentive, responsive, and professional. You always feel that your needs and requests matter. In short, an excellent stay. We would happily return.

Fantastic buffet breakfast. Good choice of restaurants and in room dining - we tried something new every night. Excellent spa facilities. Wonderful pool and beach. The staff were hugely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Perfect if travelling with a small baby - they regularly cleaned our bottles, provided a bottle steriliser, nappy bin and everything was kid friendly. High recommend.

Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat for snorkelling. Your guest relations team says to check in the morning since the boat club has closed. They should be able to access & make reservations 24 * 7 - Simply unacceptable answer. If the boat is full, get another boat to make the guests happy: it costs very little. We ended up renting a boat for 5,000 MUR & had a great time. The resort is too large for personalized service.

Everything. Staff outstanding. Organisation of the whole resort - fantastic. Attention to detail . Atmosphere throughout. Level of service and always with a smile. High standard of accommodation. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

A very nice place to stay right on the beach.

A very nice place to stay right on the beach. Had half board the food was good. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. Tours were reasonable priced. Hotel was a very affordable and good value for money.

Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are...

Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are hotels and a golf course without much else. So if you are looking for a resort with facilities ie shops / bars & restaurants outside of your hotel there isn't much within walking distance there is hardly anything. If you have a car Flacq is a 15 min drive away with the Market and Supermarket. The beach is quiet and beautiful.

Staff is wonderful, helpful and well informed.

Staff is wonderful, helpful and well informed. They go out of their way to assist. Ravin is an amazing person. We had only breakfast included. Food and drinks are generally quite expensive. Similar to what you will pay in a 5 star hotel in London. Gardens and facilities are excellent. Will definitely visit again. A small complaint about housekeeping was immediately attended to and a bottle of champagne was offered as a gift.

Lovely and unique, it’s not a big resort so everything within reach. There are a lot of nice touches all over the hotel, the attention to details is excellent. For example, full cotton shower gown is super comfy, radio in the room already on a nice tune, different tea and coffee in glass jar, salt scrubs in the shower, water station next to the pool with lemon and rosemary, including both still and sparkling water, brushes next to the beach to brush off the sand on your toes. We had a lovely stay!

The best service, we felt like a royalty the whole time. Special thanks to Ramana team for the service during dinners and the head waitress Sylvana for making the breakfasts exceptional. We stayed in the beach suite, the room was cleaned twice a day and every time to perfection. The pool and the hotel beach is very nice too. We were paddle boarding and snorkeling every day, the equipment free of charge. The overall experience is fantastic and we would go next year again.

Constance Belle Mare was a lovely resort. The beach was great. There is lots to do within the resort so you never get bored. The breakfast was amazing, we stayed for 3 nights and never got bored of the variety. Saira was such a ray of sunshine and already knew how we liked our eggs by the time we left, we looked forward to her smile each morning! Everything you'd expect from a great resort, all under one roof
