We visited this adult only resort to celebrate my sister’s wedding. She flew from the UK, we flew from Perth Australia. I had organised the paper work for my sister. Kevin from Lagoon Attitude, Summer Times Wedding Agency and Carine once we arrived at the hotel made the whole process stress free. Thank you. Nothing was too much trouble to make the wedding stunning and memorable. Kevin had organised Nat and Jude photography to take the photos. What a fabulous team ensuring the bride and groom got the casual photos they wanted. The wedding was completed by the lobster dinner at Kot Nou. This was so amazing. Highly recommend it! We did All Inclusive. Food and drinks were amazing. So much choice. Tip book restaurants when you arrive. We loved the casual lunches at Taba J street food. The whole team need to be commended, from the beach cleaners, gardeners, room cleaners, maintenance, bar, restaurants, chefs, management etc. Special mentions to Sachin and Anais for the stunning lobster service at Kot Nou & Taba-J. Ganesha & Vivek in the bar. “Nissan” & Jonathon in Coral. Ake & Ranveer in breakfast. Akash in various locations. There are plenty of sun beds spaced out. There are lots of water stations offering still and sparking water throughout the resort. There are fabulous shower rooms you can book for a late check out. From other reviews there are places that could do with eg a bit of regrouting or painting but this is so minor and certainly did not impact on our fabulous celebration and holiday. Although there is evening entertainment this is not a place if you want to party! If you are looking for peace and tranquility with good food, good service book it now!

We had a very comfortable stay in this place. Easy check-in and check out (much more easier than most hotels), huge parking space, safe, lots of kitchen amenities if you have plans to cook during your holiday. The owner is so responsive and willing to help about everything. If you be a nice kid, she even can tell you how to go to a secret beach 5 minutes away from the place. 😬🥰

Maison Du Nord is like small heaven on earth. Spatious rooms and a really great breakfast. We stayed at 4 different places in Mauritius, this one had by far the best breakfast of all! The owner Vishnu (who also created this little paradise I think) is such a great, warmhearted man. There is a lot of staff on site and everyone is so genuinely open, warm and available. Staying at this place really leveled up our Mauritius holidays.

One of the best hotels we stayed at in Mauritius. Spotlessly clean with excellent daily housekeeping, and incredibly friendly, helpful staff. It was an absolute pleasure to be there. The location is great – just a 2-minute walk along the shore to Mont Choisy Beach. It would, of course, be wonderful if the hotel had its own beach, but the property itself is very small, cozy, and intimate. The hotel grounds are beautifully green, and the view from the pool is simply stunning. The only downside was that our room was the closest to the road, so we could hear traffic noise, especially in the mornings when trucks passed by. Apart from that, everything was fantastic – especially the cleanliness of the rooms, the friendliness, hospitality, and willingness to help from the staff. I, unfortunately, didn’t remember their names, but the lady at the reception and the gentleman who carried our luggage to the room were the best! We met them every day during our week-long stay, and it was always nice to exchange a few words and feel like a truly valued guest. Staff score: 100 out of 100!

The location was ideal, the weather in the North was great during winter week. The duplex is location is just right. Not often you will have one that gives you direct access to the beach which makes this one desirable.

Don't believe we got the best sea view room in the hotel -...

Don't believe we got the best sea view room in the hotel - but..... Beds were very hard - but apparently if you ask you can get a "topper" mattress - but we didn't know that Food for a large hotel relies substantially on a buffet system - which the hotel did well - constantly changing themes. There are 3 a la carte restaurants although 2 of them are choice of 2 options through the menu - and one carried a £15.00 per head surcharge. And a Lobster night carried a £90.00 per head surcharge. The third (Coral) was excellent and had a bit wider choice. Street food for lunch was an excellent idea. Boat trips were good and plenty of other "things to do" other than 3 swimming pools - all lovely. "No Kids" label was frankly terrific!

Arriving at the hotel around 7 pm, the receptionist had little time to greet me, giving me a quick and incomplete tour of the room. The fridge contained a bottle of water, and the bathroom wasn't equipped to my liking. I won't elaborate further...

A village atmosphere with a fresh fish vendor just 50 meters away!… however, there are no real shops before Peyrébère. It's a shame the water is murky: nothing to see while snorkeling near the shore. The peace and quiet are very pleasant. The bus stop is 50 meters away for Peyrébère/Grand Baie and Port Louis.

Everything was top. Antoine has created a great place! The gardens are stuning with a Balinese swimming pool. The room and premises are top , great design, beautiful decor! Breakfast is top with loads of healthy options. Loads of info provided around the area. It was just amazing ! A place to relax from the crowded hotels. A more private settings. Thank you Antoine, you were very kind to us.

The setting of the hotel is absolutely beautiful with the eternity pool looking over the ocean to a little island in the distance. There are so many private cabanas to relax and the staff were the most friendliest I’ve ever met.
