I will rate the service 10/10. The staffs provide such an amazing service that for the first time of my life, I didn't have a complain, my husband was astonished too by the service. The staff was very nice to my parents, to myself, the reason Im stating this is because we are Mauritian and sometime because of being local, most hotel staffs tends to forget that we are paying for the same service as a foreign tourist and lack to give the local the proper service. I paid for one night and extend for a second night. Value for money. The place is clean and they really accommodate for your needs. The staffs at the restaurant will watch every step, clean your table or plate, pull the chair for you to sit, without asking, and help you to carry plates. The Spa was also a wonderful experience. I took the beach front view, is where you get the best view of the resto, beach

Gosun Beach Hotel is a cozy and welcoming small hotel with a personal touch. The breakfast was really good – not the largest buffet, but instead focused on quality, which we truly appreciated after staying at other hotels in Mauritius that prioritized quantity but lacked flavor. The eggs, made to order, were excellent, and it was a big plus that breakfast was served until 10:30. The rooms were newly renovated and very spacious. The courtyard pool was a lovely place to relax in the afternoon after a day of exploring. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful – we felt very well taken care of.

I had such a great stay here, everything was just perfect. The apartment was clean, cozy and exactly what I needed. The hosts were incredibly kind and genuinely helpful with anything I needed, which made the whole experience even better. The staff was amazing. Everyone was very nice. Deevesh was very kind and always offering help and giving suggestions. But in general all of them were super. Food was really great. Every night, the dinner offer was changed to increase variety. Rooms were very clean. Pool staff really kind and polite.

Nice beach , lots of trips available .

Nice beach , lots of trips available . You really need a car or book trips if your staying any length of time as nothing much else to do . No nightlife during the week only Friday and Saturday otherwise everywhere shuts at 10pm

Lovely resort. Great beach. Gets very crowded at weekends. The beach is not quite as good as some of the beaches in the north, but it is still beautiful. Quite upseting to see the amount of litter left on the beach and traffic around the resort was sometimes an issue. But the location is great and the western sunsets are stunning! Our favourire restaurant was Mosaic, serving typical Mauritian food alongside a standard menu with burgers, pizzas and pasta with friendly service from Daniel and team. Casela Safari Park nearby is a good day out, and a day trip to the east to visit Iles aux Cerfs was a highlight of our stay.

The beach outside Sands and the other hotels are beautiful, unspoilt white sands, however the public beach part further north is busier with people and cars on the road, and lots of fast food vans, cheap bars etc.

Walking on the beach was fun, and the water allowed easy swimming even for the not-so-strong swimmer. The food carts added restaurant variety. We had good meals at Bouganvillea and Chez Pepe, but also enjoyed eating in and watching the sunset. Lovely shopping, interesting people, and the public bus service worked for us. However, it was interesting that the same trip was free outbound and then cost 100 rupees (3 people) for the return trip (with no tickets issued).

Flic'en'Flac is the best place to stay on Mauritius,...

Flic'en'Flac is the best place to stay on Mauritius, especially if you're visiting Mauritius in July. North was windy, south rainy but west side just perfect. It is a nice, vaste sandy beach with pine trees and palm trees, nice hotels and resorts, bars, restaurants and street food.

We liked our chosen accommodation, we had a good view of the beach from our balcony, the staff were great and we want to go back to sample lunch at the Creole Shack! The beach was lovely and safe for swimming and there was a good variety of eateries from beach stalls to high end restaurants and all manner of cuisines. Everything is in walking distance and four km in land there is a very large mall being built and a new state of the art hospital. We will definitely be going back.

Location right next to the beach and within walking distance of local facilities. Little balcony to sit and have breakfast was lovely. Cleaners came every day and did a very good job. Bathroom was spotlessly clean. Beds very comfy and the air-conditioning in the bedrooms was great and very much needed ! 3 pin plug sockets so no need for adaptors. Overall very good value for the location and Mauritius in general. Had a super stay and would return if I visit Mauritius again.

Apartment is quite spacious, clean and has all amenities needed, is very close to the beach and the host is most helpful if you have any questions regarding your stay, city, shops etc. Parking space quite large. The bed was very comfortable ( which does not happen very often in rented flats). If I am ever going back to Mauritius, I will for sure take the same apartment
