Maison Du Nord is like small heaven on earth. Spatious rooms and a really great breakfast. We stayed at 4 different places in Mauritius, this one had by far the best breakfast of all! The owner Vishnu (who also created this little paradise I think) is such a great, warmhearted man. There is a lot of staff on site and everyone is so genuinely open, warm and available. Staying at this place really leveled up our Mauritius holidays.

One of the best hotels we stayed at in Mauritius. Spotlessly clean with excellent daily housekeeping, and incredibly friendly, helpful staff. It was an absolute pleasure to be there. The location is great – just a 2-minute walk along the shore to Mont Choisy Beach. It would, of course, be wonderful if the hotel had its own beach, but the property itself is very small, cozy, and intimate. The hotel grounds are beautifully green, and the view from the pool is simply stunning. The only downside was that our room was the closest to the road, so we could hear traffic noise, especially in the mornings when trucks passed by. Apart from that, everything was fantastic – especially the cleanliness of the rooms, the friendliness, hospitality, and willingness to help from the staff. I, unfortunately, didn’t remember their names, but the lady at the reception and the gentleman who carried our luggage to the room were the best! We met them every day during our week-long stay, and it was always nice to exchange a few words and feel like a truly valued guest. Staff score: 100 out of 100!

The staff at the Ocean V were exceptional and couldn't do enough to help! The food is a huge plus at this hotel - we went half board and would highly recommend this option. The food was fresh and tasty - breakfast was a buffet and an excellent selection every day. We would love to go back to this hotel - amazing management :)

I had an amazing stay! The room was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant has a stunning view, especially during sunset. The staff at both the restaurant and reception were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile. This place is worth every cent. I’d highly recommend it and would love to return!

I can say nothing but praises for this apartment and all people involved! We did some last minute booking in September 25. Jean-Pierre and his team gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. We had dinner the first night, the Butter Chicken was really good, but the homemade french fries were amazing! Also really good price for everything. The breakfast was also really good too, and plenty of different choices, but I have to call out the banana bread: it is the best one I ever had, I mostly ate only that. At the place my wife and I booked a 90 minutes massage with Élodie each, which was really good and relaxing with an amazing price. Gael made the final day perfect by showing us the area a bit. Everyone was so nice and friendly, the whole staff is amazing. What I personally also preffered was that even though it is in Grand Baie, it is a bit outside of the main tourist area, and thus a quiet area. I can only recommend to stay here if you can!
