The apartment is very nice, well fitted with everything you might need, clean. Location is on the main road and easy to find. But the best thing is the care and kindness Kerstin is putting into making your stay a memorable one. She made reservations for boat trip, restaurants every night we spent there, kindly offered to call the airport for our lost luggage. The only thing I regret is not knowing that her husband is a Romanian foodie - we would have brought him some supplies. So, shoutout to all Romanians going there: bring over some polenta flour / mălai and goat cheese and you will make a guy happy very easily.

A bit beaten town, lots of drunks and abandoned houses. There are some nice restaurants around (Chez Tino, Green Island Beach Restaurant) and places to visit (Île aux Cerfs, GRSE waterfall), but overall not to stay for too long.

The village is charming, easy to go on the boat to other islands. I recommend a visit to Ile aux Cerf, you can relax or do some sport e.g waterski, swimming. By boat to GRSE Waterfall. Take a BBQ lunch to one of the other island there.

It is a great location to see traditional Mauritian life.

It is a great location to see traditional Mauritian life. A few minutes bus ride is the unspoilt beach at Palmar. It is the best beach we have seen on the island. The reef is close to shore and the water is crystal clear.

From staff to location, it was perfect from start to finish. The Mauritian staff were all so welcoming, friendly and very professional- nothing was too much. The beach was amazing - as too were the selection of great restaurants. From sunset drinks to beach bbqs to amazing evening band and singers in the atmospheric bar/lounge, we could not have asked for more. The beach front rooms were very spacious and with such comfortable beds and cloud-like pillows. We have stayed in several hotels on the island - thus ranks top, in our opinion.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival, the owner is very helpful and doing his best to make a comfy stay for everybody. The hotel was quiet and a bit hidden from the centre of the town. Kitchen and toilet in the room, also a balcony and AC.We've requested early check in and we could do it. Also the owner helped us with getting the best price for catamaran tour and it was perfectly organised. We highly recommend this stay and would choose it again.

Nice and quite cozy sized hotel. Good amenities including a lot of thoughtful details such as a food truck, creative provision of coffee and tea etc. Nice beach as well. Family rooms are great - we liked the layout and there is enough space. Staff are attentive, the buffet is good.
