It was an awesome and fantastic journey staying in Nova Maldives. The staff were welcoming, attentive and approachable. The all inclusive package indulged us in a delectable dinner at Flames, a wide range of special and alcoholic drinks, as well as snorkelling which allowed us to explore the amazing marine life of Maldives. We had a amazing stay with Tholal. Nice room, very well equiped kitchen and beach equipment available for free. But the best thing was the whale shark trip. The owner has a very speedy boat an is an expert spotter. Our best experiencein the Maledives ! And rhe owner made a great video for us and also lended us his camera.

We just returned from an incredible stay at Vilamendhoo! Never bean in September but we had a perfect holiday dispute raining two days. Accommodations: The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, making it the perfect home away from home. Food: The dining experience at Asian Wok is exceptional. Each meal was a delightful journey. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, truly elevating our all-inclusive experience. Snorkeling: The snorkeling here is phenomenal! The house reef is teeming with life! Swimming with manta rays on house reef near Asian Wok restaurant was the highlight of our stay. We also spotted white and black tip sharks, turtles, eagle rays and hundreds of colorful fish, all on the house reef! If you snorkell every day, you will se amazing stuff underwater. Although the reef is not what it was 12 years ago, it still has its beatuties and some coral is recovering. Bars: The bars were top-notch, offering a fantastic selection of cocktails and beverages. The staff was always ready with a smile, making our time at the bar just as enjoyable as our time in the water. Staff: Speaking of the staff, they truly went above and beyond. Every member was friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure our stay was perfect. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel right at home. Overall Experience: The all-inclusive package at Vilamendhoo is simply perfect. Every aspect of our stay was catered to perfection, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. It is a small enough island to walk around. The locals are extremely friendly - always saying hello. There are 3 restaurants all along the west coast. Compass seems most popular. But all are good with same offering of food. There is a fair amount of building going on at the moment as they gear up for more tourists. We used South Ari Dive for our diving trips. They are professional and friendly.

Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling.

Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling. The reef is very far out and at times the current was very strong. Prices for trips to see the whale sharks were quite expensive at 75 USD. And there were tons of other boats at the same spots - very zoo-like. Bikini beach, the only beach you can swim at in only your bathing suit is fairly shallow and windy. The better beach beside it requires you to be clothed. However, the local people are super nice and helpful.

The staff tries to keep it very clean. They are friendly and would help with anything. The food is varied and very rich. The massage therapists are at a very good level. I did not like the markup of goods in the only store. The ratio is ten times.

Firstly to clarify the resort is located in Theluveligaa, not Dhangethi. Theluveligaa is a small island, I was a solo traveller (mid 30s female) the water villa is amazing and the outside space is spacious with a lot of seating options. I hardly spent time on the beach. The resort itself is very quiet even when full. There are no motorised sports however you can kayak, snorkel and dive (you can get your licence there) and do other trips: Whale Sharks, Mantas, Turtles. The food options are good, drinks are expensive a juice will set you back $18 staff are friendly, especially the dive instructors (Julia & Ebu) and receptionist (Maria) I would definitely recommend this resort and felt safe on my own.

Quiet, lovely colourful houses, quite small but surrounded by other islands. Head for the jetty especially at sunset. Two recommended cafes/ restaurants: Compass with its verandah dining tables where you can watch rays and baby nurse sharks being fed at dusk - the maitre d’ - Sampath was charming and obliging and the food was amazing. Try also the Blue Moon Cafe with the equally charming Anup as maitre d’. Not much coral as the island is surrounded by sea grass

Very nice and helpful staff. Bestey, Eyesha are very nice people. They helped me with every question.We went on excursions together, they showed the real culture of the island and the Maldivians.. I am very glad that I chose this hotel. I will definitely come back here.. I advise everyone..

Next time you are like: "mhh, where should I stay in dhangethi?" Just book night star. Amazing host, clean and spacious room, very close to the public beach, restaurants and the harbour for excursions. Don't even need to consider the other more expensive choices.
