The rooms are just as beautiful as shown in pictures and also provide a yoga mat and a beach bag. The whole building feels really spacious, bright and open and has its own Bikini beach area right in front, where you can just hang out or go snorkeling or stand up paddling. You get daily updates about weather, tides and activities. Even if the island is really remote and luckily not touristy, you can pretty much do any activity like snorkeling trips, fishing trips, dolphin cruise etc, all carefully prepared and done by the owner Ismail himself. On top of that there were complimentary activities done by Ismail such as house reef snorkeling and short thematic walks, so you could truly get to know the island and Maldivian culture. The island itself is also just super beautiful. With only a small village, half of the island is pretty green jungle and the bikini beach area spans across a wide part of the island. You cannot walk all around the isla nd, which makes it perfect to have nice little isolated beach areas to yourself. Also the house reef of the island is amazing with so many different fish - it’s just a dream for snorkeling. If you are lucky you can even see Manta rays right from the beach or from the SUP. What really makes this place special is the people who go above and beyond so that you can have your perfect holiday - from fresh coconut right from the tree or amazing chai tea, to organizing trips that are not regularly offered. If you have any questions or need anything, you can always reach out to the wonderful team and everybody will be warm and welcoming. Aiman and the other staff at the property were great and responsive to our requests. We read some prior negative reviews about the food but I think they resolved that because we we enjoyed the mix of local and western food including some incredible fresh grilled fish. The island was perfect for what we were looking for, a lost paradise with super friendly locals.

The rooms are big and cleaned every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Bikini beach is 3 minutes away and when we wanted to go to the further one, they provided transport. The island is very beautiful and quiet, perfect for relaxation. If you don’t expect luxury, but rather a quiet and relaxed vacation, Tropical Tree is the perfect spot.

The house offers ample space for everyone to spread out and relax. With three separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a spacious living room, kitchen, dining area, and a backyard complete with a patio and open-air shower, there is a plenty of room to unwind. The house is not only spacious but also in perfect condition, professionally designed with all the amenities you could ask for on a vacation. From a modern TV to some fun games and even a karaoke system, there's entertainment for everyone; dishwasher and modern washing machine facilitate the routine. Cooking is a breeze thanks to the well-equipped kitchen. Plus, the wooden grill in the backyard is perfect for cooking meat or fresh seafood. Located in a beautiful area, you'll be close to great bikini beaches, including one just 3 min away. Another stunning bikini beach is just a 15-minute walk or a quick 5-minute transfer ride, courtesy of our helpful host. The locals are incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the charm of the island. There are several restaurants & a couple of shops (one is 1,5 min away from the house) with the basic groceries. The service provided by our host was excellent and reminded more a high quality hotel service. From promptly answering our messages during the booking process, greeting us in Male, helping with transfer to Fehendhoo to arranging grocery deliveries from Male the very next day, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Daily transfers to the distant beach, purchaising fresh seafod for us as well as trips to neighboring islands and snorkeling tours, were all arranged with ease.

We stayed at The Corbin for 9 nights and it was amazing!!! Shai and Aiman were so sweet, caring and did absolutely everything they could to make our stay feel like a dream. On our first day they greet us with flowers necklaces and then took us to tour of the island- genius idea! We went on 3 trips and each was perfect. Idyllic picnic beach, snorkeling, surfing among dolphins and watching manta rays- everything was perfect! We asked for many trips to be organized and they did everything they could to let us get to know the beautiful, local side of the Maldives. They even invited us to an evening barbecue on the beach with their family and other guests- an amazing experience. Shai is the best photographer, and catches every single moment of our journey. You can see the huge amount of work and heart that the family puts into creating this place. The place is quite small which adds to a family atmosphere. The rooms were cleaned every day, towels and bedding regularly changed. Everything was clean and the rooms were surrounded by beautiful plants that the owners' mother takes care of. An additional plus for the shower and hangers outside the rooms :). A great chef who prepared delicious food with the possibility of delivery to the bikini beach. As far as the bikini beach is concerned it is 10 minutes by bike (you can rent it for 5 dollars per day) from the guest house and looks like something out of this world and in addition it is empty (we were the only ones there, practically the whole trip). The island is quite small (800 inhabitants) which made us feel at home. A beautiful pitch and skatepark 3 minutes by bike. The shop literally 2 minutes on foot. Everything you may need was close. Everyone was always smiling and willing to help. Shai talks with sincere interest about life and culture on the island which helped us get to know it better. The owners did absolutely everything to make us remember this trip! You can really feel at home.

Everything was amazing starting from the hotel ending with the staff. Especially Janith, he was there for us every single step of the way. He went out of his way to care for us. This is probably the best resort in Fulhadhoo. My wife was pregnant and they went above and beyond to make she had what she needed. At one point I even felt overpampered lol. We had a romantic dinner on the beach and the whole staff came to make that a special event for us. We did the dolphin thing with them too. Saw the dolphins. Everything was impeccably arranged.

Really natural feel and beautiful aesthetic. Good location, close to shops, harbour and beaches. Staff were incredible. Our chef Bucci prepared us delicious meals. Lea is great coordinator and provided us with great tours and information about island, food and other inquires. All the staff is worth of mention for their hospitality and positive energy: Yugi, DeenIslam, Surya. They cleaned our rooms regularly and provided us with transport and interesting talks.

The staff is very welcoming and kind, they have good advice and helped with a lot during our stay. The Villa Laguna Maldives is a beautiful place. Clean, comfortable and unwinding. For all those thinking about the length of the speedboat, the travel is well worth it! We had amazing stay and we wish we could come back again Thank you very much for organizing a Birthday surprise for our daughter! The cake was very delicious.

Fehendoo is beautiful but it is very remote and not much to...

Fehendoo is beautiful but it is very remote and not much to do on the island. It is great for relaxing and having downtime. Definitely do snorkeling and scuba if you can. The fishing wasn't what I expected. It was more like going out and watching a local fisherman fish. The island is very small. You can walk it but bikes were the best way to get around. I wouldn't take small children. It would be best for a secluded adult getaway.

If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful island, Fehendoo is for you. Go to bikini beach 2 at the far end of the island and you'll be in Paradise. One of the most relaxing place I have ever been to. 2hrs away from Male by speed boat. Half of the island is still jungle with a dirt path going through it. You will be surrounded by Lush tropical vegetation. Amazing place. 🥥🌴 ☀️ 🌊 😎

The beach is incredibly long, spotless, and features stunning, crystal-clear water. The scenery is breathtaking, making it a perfect spot for photography. Despite the rain, it was an amazing experience, and the beach remains a popular destination for many tourists.

A very beautiful and peaceful island with few tourists.

A very beautiful and peaceful island with few tourists. Accommodation is more affordable than on the neighboring island of Fulhadhoo. The beach is great for swimming, and the north side offers excellent snorkeling opportunities right from the shore. The walk from the village is quite long at 20-30 minutes, but you can rent bicycles at the neighboring Isla Retreat hotel.

It's an island that's not yet overrun by tourists.

It's an island that's not yet overrun by tourists. There are 3/4 guest houses, all relatively new and nice. The island is long and narrow, one side exposed to the wind has no beaches, the other, passing through the forest, leads you onto wonderful little beaches. We've always eaten in our guest house. From what I've seen on the island, there's only one small restaurant.

The island is magnificent and the beaches are fabulous... We ate there throughout our stay; the food was varied and very good! Walking around the island is very pleasant and the people are very welcoming! Don't be afraid of the cultural differences; the people are very open and will come and talk to you, and you'll have a wonderful time with them!
