Staying on this local island was an incredible experience that we will cherish forever. Unlike the more touristy islands, Kihadhoo had a more authentic and serene vibe, and the locals were genuinely kind and welcoming. Our host was exceptional in every way. Not only was he the director of the local school, but he also managed the accommodation as a side project with utmost care and dedication. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. For meals, our host arranged dining at a newly opened local café. While the café still has room for improvement in terms of price-to-quality ratio, I’m confident it will grow into a fantastic spot over time. What truly sets this island apart is its breathtaking coral reef and vibrant marine life. Our host also organized unforgettable snorkeling and diving trips with a dive center on a neighboring island. These excursions were simply magical (especially in Hanifaru bay)! However, having a dive center directly on the island (which is planned soon) will make exploring the underwater world even more convenient. This island offers an authentic, peaceful getaway with stunning natural beauty and warm hospitality. We would love to return someday and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique Maldivian experience.

Is there anything I can write in this review that other guests didn’t write already here on booking? From the very first moment they welcome you on the airport to the moment you leave this paradise on the earth, everything was just p-e-r-f-e-c-t! Top notch personnel where everyone is trying to pamper you and fulfill all the wishes. Buddy - you are the king! Great food for breakfast - even better for lunch and dinner (special recommendation for Japanese restaurant). Overwater villas are located directly over the reef with incredible marine life underneath (snorkeling felt like Windows screen saver :). On the scale from 1 to 10 I give them 11! Guys thanks for everything.

The best location on the island. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room big and clean, and the food delicious. Its a very peacefull place, perfect for relaxing. The best part of the place is the beach located right in front of it, very quiet with very few people on it. And ofcourse the view from the room. I would also recommand taking a massage in the hotel spa as I did. Wonderful!

I had the most incredible birthday at Bageecha Stay! The rooms were absolutely spotless, with a lovely fresh scent and everything feeling brand new. The service was top-notch – personalized and thoughtful at every turn. The food? Delicious and beautifully presented! One of the best parts is the ability to choose between local Maldivian dishes or European cuisine, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The island is the perfect size for exploring, with clean beaches and stunning ocean views. The view from my room was breathtaking, with the ocean stretching out right before my eyes. The highlight of my stay was taking a boat trip to a deserted island, which turned out to be the most unforgettable experience. It was peaceful, beautiful, and truly magical – a once-in-a-lifetime moment! For those who love to explore, the resort offers bicycles that you can take and ride around the island. It’s a fun and relaxing way to see every corner of this beautiful place. Everything at Bageecha Stay is designed with attention to detail. The rooms were cleaned regularly, ensuring everything stayed fresh and pristine. They even have special branded beach towels, which was a lovely touch and added to the luxurious feel of the stay. Another unique feature of the resort is the sight of planes taking off – a fascinating experience that makes for amazing photos! Our experience at Swarn was exceptional. The staff greeted us warmly at the jetty, making us feel immediately welcome. The check-in process was seamless, and the team had already taken our lunch order while we were still at Dharavandhoo jetty—service you don’t often find even in luxury hotels. Our personal host was incredibly attentive, staying in touch via WhatsApp throughout our stay. The ocean views from our room and bathroom were truly the highlight, offering a serene and calming atmosphere. The rooms were well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and both the service and cleanliness were top-notch. The food was plentiful and impressive for a local island in the Maldives. Kamadhoo, located in BAA Atoll, is an underrated island that truly is a hidden gem. The beaches are stunning, especially the expansive Bikini Beach. The island is convenient with a few cafes, restaurants, and shops. The local residents are kind and welcoming. The reefs near the beach are well-maintained and incredibly beautiful. We also enjoyed a Manta excursion, just a few minutes from the island, where we had the amazing experience of seeing Mantas up close. The excursion was well-organized by Rifaa and his team. Additionally, the spa therapist, Erna, provided an excellent massage, enhancing our overall relaxation. We will definitely return again and again!
