Beautiful resort with very friendly helpful staff.

Our honeymoon at Furaveri Resort in the Maldives was nothing short of magical. We stayed for 8 days in a stunning villa with a private pool and our own private beach, which gave us the perfect mix of luxury and privacy. The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking, and we were amazed by the variety of fish swimming right next to us – truly a surreal experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made us feel welcome. Transportation around the island was easy and fun, thanks to the convenient buggy service. The resort’s all-inclusive package was fantastic, with free drinks and access to five diverse restaurants. The buffet at the main restaurant stood out with its wide variety of delicious dishes. The activities offered were a highlight as well – we went on a sunset cruise and were lucky enough to spot dolphins, and the water sports added an adventurous touch to our trip. Furaveri is a paradise on earth, and we cannot recommend it enough for anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable escape. It was the perfect start to our life together. We spent our Maldives vacation at the end of November 2025 at the Emerald Maldives and were absolutely thrilled. Upon arrival at Malé airport, we were greeted by an Emerald staff member. Despite the early morning, the seaplane flight to the resort was perfectly organized without a long wait, allowing us to arrive at Emerald in the morning. The seaplane flight is an experience in itself, offering wonderful views of the islands. Despite our early arrival, our overwater villa was already ready, making our arrival day feel like our first day of vacation. The villas are enormous, with direct access to the sea and are beautifully furnished. The pool on the terrace is a particular highlight, offering true privacy. Of course, the island also offers many opportunities for swimming, with picture-perfect sandy beaches and beautiful reefs for snorkeling. (Snorkeling equipment is provided by the dive center for the entire duration of your stay.) We were very impressed by the friendliness of all the hotel staff, and Wisham deserves special mention. Wisham organized our stay from start to finish and fulfilled every request. If a bicycle broke down, Wisham immediately arranged a replacement. Taxi rides or a meal on the beach for two: just ask Wisham. Thank you, Wisham, for making our stay such a special experience. We also enjoyed the diverse cuisine in the various restaurants. They know how to prepare high-quality ingredients with exciting flavors. The wine recommendations from the sommeliers made every meal a delightful experience. We can also highly recommend the dive center. Even non-divers can easily participate in exciting introductory dives. The staff provides excellent support and operates very professionally. In conclusion: Facilities, cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, food and drinks, beach, and natural surroundings: TOP-NOTCH.
