Excellent breakfast, wonderful location with a beautiful garden, very quiet, you could hear the birds singing in the morning. I stayed quite far from the reception and the street, maybe that's why my experience has been so good.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was definitely worth the price. We only stayed one night on the way from Liwonde to Nkhata bay. They have a cozy bar/restaurant area downstairs, some vegetarian food options available.

The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. They attended to my every need and were very helpful. The room was beautiful - tastefully decorated, a fabulous bed, which was very comfortable and had a lovely big balcony. The bathroom facilities were great - a rain shower, free toiletries and it was spacious enough to move around in comfortably. The restaurant was very nice. The food choices for me are somewhat limited, as I am vegetarian, but my choice was very tasty and the portion was generous.

Lilongwe is the main entry point - as a city it is of no especial interest although it is nice to have a few days relaxing before or after exploring the country at somewhere like Green Elephant Hotel The main attractions are of course Lake Malawi which the closest point of Sengha Bay is about 2 hours and various game reserves like Liwonde Currently Malawi has a fuel crisis which means travel is restricted - check this before planning a trip

The city is beautiful and its people warm and welcoming, my favorite place so far is Kumbali Lodge, I went there for a concert and then an early diner, the space is beautiful. I would definitely visit again and explore some more.
