Great location (on the lake). Amazingly friendly catering staff; went completely off-menu to source and prepare authentic "local" vegetarian food for me; and kept doing it for the whole week. Super helpful operations team were always willing to try to fix problems as they occurred (eg. bad wifi); can't blame them for others' mistakes!

This place is one of the very few places I would like to spend longer time as a retiree and I have visited more than 50. The personal and George expecially are very helpful and cooperative. Thanks to him I got a good cabin on m/v Ilala.

I had the most relaxing stay at Norman Carr Cottage. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the private beach is idyllic. Leonie made me feel at home from the second I arrived. Both Taffy and Leonie are wonderful hosts and lovely to chat to. I look forward to coming again next time I’m in Malawi!

Just the most beautiful haven, we loved everything. The housekeeper made us feel totally at home and we had to extend our stay by an extra night to enjoy the beautiful garden overlooking the lake, all the birds and explore the local village. It’s perfect! If you have the chance to stay here, do!
