Punta Allen seems to be a virgin place in Mexico.
Punta Allen seems to be a virgin place in Mexico. Not many tourists not many places like restaurants or shops. Its full of sargaso and at the moment properties cant deal with it and many of them are on the beach. But you can have nice excursions to see dolphins at the nature ,we took the fishers boat and went to see dolphins and turtles do some snorkel,kids loved it! There was a nice patio area overlooking the property’s garden where we could birdwatch. We decided to use the boat transfer to reach Punta Allen, which was an adventure in itself. If you don’t have a vehicle to drive yourself there Marta can give you the contact details and information on how to book the transfer. We loved the boat trip organised by the hotel. Staff are super friendly and helpful and a really relaxed vibe throughout. The sea is beautiful (agree with others about the plastic though completely not the fault of the hotel). Not sure why people are bothered by the seaweed….just jump over and the sea is right there!
