I want to live at this place forever! Rosita and Abraham were so welcoming and lovely, and their quinta is just as beautiful and comfortable as they are. The gardens are gorgeous, the pool spotless and refreshing, places to sit and relax all beautifully designed. Would definitely go out of our way to stay here again, and next time for at least a couple of nights!

Fantastic place. We couldn’t believe it for the price. It’s like a 4 star hotel. Nice staff, intimate feeling yet spacious and warm ambiance. The room was amazing, clean and roomy, we couldn’t taste breakfast unfortunately as they only start serving at 8am and we left at 7am. But the breakfast area looked so nice. It is very quiet at night and during the day too. Swimming pool was very appreciated, large, clean and with sun chairs. Bathroom was adorable and with hot water available and pressure. Such a gem!

We stayed two nights in one of the wooden casitas that are located in the midst of a rainforest/botanical garden setting. We felt immersed in the sounds of nature, which was a quite unique experience. We brought a mosquito net for the bed which was not absolutely necessary but advisable. Breakfast was simple but tasty and is served in another beautiful setting created by the lovely host Valerie. The restaurant was equally great.

Long opening hours for the pool. It doesn’t close until 10pm and it’s lovely to relax and cool off in the pool after a long day at the ruins.

We loved our stay at El Jardin. The place is beautiful, the staff are great and helpful. We especially appreciated the swimming pool in the hot May weather. The accommodation was great, with a bedroom and living room. We recommend this establishment 100%.

Posada located a 10-15 minute walk from the center of Ticul and numerous shops. The village itself wasn't really explored as it was just a stop on our Yucatan road trip along the Ruta Puuc. However, we were fortunate enough to stay there at the beginning of the Feria de las Naranjas (Orange Festival).

Ticul is a good place to visit artisans and buy handicrafts—although only two shoe stores remain that offer good quality leather goods; the rest sell synthetic and poorly made shoes. Unfortunately, Ticul doesn't have good restaurants or many other attractions. However, it's a good base for visiting the various Mayan ruins of the Puuc region and the Magical Town of Mani.

Ticul is a hole.

Ticul is a hole. It's a good base, if you have a car, for visiting cenotes and archaeological sites. There are also some well-stocked supermarkets and other shops. Ermelo, Mexico
