The peace and quiet were just what I needed after several weeks of travel and staying in busy hostels. My time here felt more like a homestay than a hostel, a home away from home. It is situated in a quiet residential area which has an authentic and very special kampung vibe. An undercover clothes line and a washing machine allowed me to catch up with my laundry to dos. The kitchen facilities were impressive and allowed me to cook several meals when an old neck and shoulder injury forced me to rest from my backpacking travels. I am grateful to Zaki and Lisa for their support in their oasis of peace. I now count them as friends. I hope to return to beautiful Langkawi and will stay here again.

Very comfortable, large rooms. Separate towels were waiting at the pool, the breakfast was very varied, you could eat European food, the hotel has a restaurant where you can order food suitable for children, for example club sandwiches with chicken.

Check in was polite, quick and easy and the room was very comfortable. Hot water and good water pressure. Perfect walking distance to the night market and great for a few nights stay. Breakfast was filling and the restaurant staff very attentive.
