please come after monsun time from march until ocktober. and stay in kampung baru pulau redang. you can rent motocycle for explore island. also easier for you to find nice food and nice beach. the price also still affordable. original people also very nice and always can give you advice for make your vacation become beautiful.

the public beach was deserted when we went so it was great ,...

the public beach was deserted when we went so it was great , all to ourselves. beautiful and fun snorkelling and swimming. very hot and humid. delicious food and very very pleasant people. Crossing to the island was rough, but fun! 16knots! easy to hire a ferry, but get there on time or pay more than double for the next (private) one. no one walks , everyone rides a motorbike. Very easy and cheap to hire. bring very light clothes , flip flops and cover from the biting bugs.

Myself and my family members likes Baku island green coral...

Myself and my family members likes Baku island green coral snorkling, and swim with turtles. Then long beach walling to impressive experience. Still need to improve the transportation access with package. Now i paid separate each and every facility. otherwise, it is safe place for family visit.

Very local and not very touristy island, we liked it a lot and above all the local restaurants may not be very inviting, but we ate very well and very very local (they love spicy food and put it everywhere)

Amazing tours and swimming!

Amazing tours and swimming! The only drawback is that compared to Perhentian islands, you can't get around as easily by taxi boat, even at night. So, it's essential to choose a non-isolated area, such as Long Beach, if you don't want to risk being isolated inside your resort every night!

Staying there for 3 days is a good option to discover the beautiful beaches and go snorkeling (+++). However, the island lacks a bit of "authenticity" and local villages once you leave the resorts.

I liked that it was more quiet and not super busy all the time. The reason for this is that you don't have the beach close to you and have to take a taxi (boat) to the beach or other spots. Hence most people are gone during the day leaving the actual resort to be peaceful. Also their snorking and activities were very well priced and arranged for guests so you can go and book whichever (as long as min number of people for group is met). These were good services.

Staff is friendly, there is transfer by jeep to Laguna resort beach. Nothing to wish for the price you pay. Very budget option.
