My wife and I had a very pleasant stay at Stephan's and Susan's hotel. The accommodation is very clean, the food in the restaurant tastes well. The highlight was that Stephan was so gentile to pick us up at 5am from the nearby gasoline station after our Intercape bus had a delay of 6 hours... Besides, we booked an afternoon tour with Stephan to visit the view points of Fish River Canyon. Thank you for having us!

We loved the immaculately clean, comfortable cabin which had everything you could possibly need for self catering. The braai pack and breakfast basket were very generous. If, like us, you are not big eaters, perhaps just order one pack between 2 people. The internet was good and in spite of a tremendous thunderstorm the power mostly stayed on.

Beautiful open area, a working farm with lovely guest rooms and old rusted cars and bikes making a lovely atmosphere. We asked in advance about meal recommendations and they offered a buffet dinner which we had. There's virtually nowhere nearby so its the logical option but very good and a well stocked bar. Good WiFi. Aircon was switched on as we were shown to our room which was great as it was very hot. Spacious with a fridge and good bathroom and shower. Lovely breakfast. Not too far from the border back into South Africa (2.5 hours drive).
