FinlandGreat campsite with good, clean facilities with privacy. Restaurant is nice with a nice view to a waterhole. Pool is nice with many mongoose roaming around. Price is on a high end for campsite but you get god return for it. Activities are also on the expensive side but good chances to see many animals, we saw lions, cheetah, white rhinos, giraffes, kudu, oryx, zebra, impala, warthogs etc.

SwitzerlandLovely lodge in the forest in a private reserve which boarders Etosha. Very nice staff & good food. There is a water hole right by the restaurant area. A group of 5 elephants came to drink there while we were having breakfast which was amazing. We highly recommend the sundowner drive within the Onguma reserve. Our guide (Jason) was fantastic & very informative and we saw an elephant, lions and white rhinos. You get a lot closer to the animals than when you’re in Etosha and there are max 3 vehicles at any one place so it doesn’t feel too crowded.

NorwayBeautiful and luxurious lodge a 10 minute drive from the nearest Etosha gate. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice food. Professional and nice guide. We had two great tours with Salomon in a well kept and practical Landcruiser as well as going in using our own car.
A special experience to be living so close to wild animals. We felt well taken care of.

It has been our 7th time in Namibia and our 5th in the...
It has been our 7th time in Namibia and our 5th in the Namutoni area. As always it is amazing! Wildlife is stunning and this year the scenario with the pan filled by rainfalls was absolutely one of the best scenario you can imagine. This year we missed elephants (just a few) which usually crowded Klein Namutoni, but area around Namutoni was plenty of wildlife such as hundreds of giraffes, impalas, gnus, zebras, springboks. We have seen also cheetah (quite frequent in this area of the park), black rhino and, for the first time in Etosha, leopard with cub. Great place!

As expected, the variety of predators was not observable but...
As expected, the variety of predators was not observable but we saw many herds of antelopes, wildebest and zebras. A single giraffe standing in an area near Halila was beautiful. Watering holes were well marked and lovely settings to spend time viewing though some roads were deeply rutted. Sorry to have detour cut off several watering holes near Anderson Gate but understand its necessary for park maintenance.

We stayed at Mokuti. We had dinner at Mokuti. We arrived 10 minutes after the scheduled closing time and there was no one there to open the door! We had to wait for more than 1 hour and 30 minutes, and after several phone calls!

Fort Namutoni is a government-run NWR camp.
Fort Namutoni is a government-run NWR camp. We can't comment on the camp itself as we didn't stay there. However, it didn't look very inviting. We only bought our park permit there.

A good place to stay when visiting Etosha.
A good place to stay when visiting Etosha. Book a lodge outside Etosha National Park, such as Emanya; they are much nicer than the outdated NWR lodges. The lodges just outside the park also have a waterhole, and here too, you can spot wildlife that isn't confined to the park. The lodges are beautiful, and the staff are much friendlier and service-oriented.

This was one of the best campsites we stayed in in Namibia.
Beautiful plot surrounded on 3 sides by trees so not on top of neighbours.
Clean ensuite facilities with toilet separate from shower - much appreciated! Also nice amount of counter space in the bathroom and cooking/sink area.
Main building overlooks a lovely waterhole with game and birds. We had a lovely breakfast here.
Very peaceful place perfectly situated just outside Namutoni Gate to Etosha.

The Hotel is well kept. It can be likened to a little paradise in a desert. At Mokuti Etosha man meets nature and both are at peace.
I wish to commend both the management and staff. Great synergy. The staff were extraordinarily excellent; from the reception to the restaurant to the bar ; from the rooms to the swimming pools , from the rides to the spa, everyone was at his or her best.
God willing, I hope to return.

The rooms were clean and spacious, just as described in the pictures. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We booked a game drive, and our guide, JP, did an excellent job. Checking in was smooth, and communication with the hotel was great. The location was excellent, just a 15-minute drive from the Namutoni Gate. All the facilities, including the pool and terrace, were spotless.

first, location is incredible, in the middle of the nature
the service is incredible as well!
the rooms are perfect
and finally the activities, I would recommend you the sunset drive and walking bush. we had an amazing guide, Liberty, and thanks to him we were able to spot lioness during the game!
we loved every minute in this hotel!

Location is perfect - very close to Etosha gate. A lot of wild animals are walking freely in the territory of the hotel, which is super cool. Super friendly staff.
